Still in his speech, answering to those who judged them drunk, Peter quoted the prophet Joel: And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams (Acts 2.17). The Spirit is poured out on every heart of flesh, sensitive to the Lord, and not on hearts of stone.
Joel spoke about the gifts to be given to God’s people when even servants and maidservants would be used wonderfully: And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days (Joel 2.29). The divine work will only be accepted and respected as such when the chosen ones allow themselves to be directed by the eternal Lord. He knows exactly what must be done in His house.
Peter assured us that the promise concerns us. It is not only for those who think they are privileged but also for all those born into the divine family. God is greater than the needs of His children, but if the people called by His Name do not seek Him nor consecrate themselves, acting as the ungodly do, how will they be the Lord’s instrument? For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. (Mc 4.25).
This is a time when the Lord will show wonders in the heavens and on earth, as the prophet declared: And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. (Joel 2:30). Let us be prepared to be used by God and to give the lost the opportunity to find salvation. The promise includes people who today are far away. Through the blood of Christ, they will come very close to the Almighty.
The greatest tragedy will occur inside Christian homes because instead of continuing to walk in search of the Lord and the strength of His power, many are taking the opposite path, contrary to God’s will. As a result, they will not be able to approach their beloved Savior at His return. Well, whoever is in the world will remain in the world, but whoever is in Christ will remain a sheep of His fold. With Christ, there is no risk at all.
The divine voice is calling believers to sanctify themselves, but some consider themselves equal to the lost, so if they don’t change their way of seeing God’s purpose, they will go from bad to worse: He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still (Rev. 22.11). Those who reject the Lord’s chastening will fall and not rise. Watch and pray!
Listen to the voice of the Lord giving you one more chance. Don’t play with your luck. Those who do not prepare for Christ’s return will be like the foolish virgins who ran out of oil (Matt. 25:3). When you surrender yourself to Christ, He will give you life and abundant life (John 10.10). Man can only secure his future by standing firm on the unshakable Rock!
In Christ, with love,

Faithful God! It is good to know that, one of these days, everything here on Earth and in the whole burning Universe will fuse. Then, new Heavens and a New Earth will be formed, and the saved will be rescued to live beside Your Son forever. Thank You, Father!
As this promise concerns us, we can be sure that if we persevere to the end, we will be saved. We already have the call, we have passed through the Narrow Door, and we are just a short distance from salvation. With Christ, we will go all the way. Halleluiah!
May Your love keep us and give us the peace we need! Thus, we will walk in faith until the moment of our transference. Then, once in Your Kingdom, we will remain in Your hands. You will never forsake us. Amen!
