The devil and his demons do not know how much they will suffer if they attack any member of the Body of Christ. Evil will be astonished at the Lord’s action to help us in our battles. In view of this, those who rise up against God’s people will experience the harshness of the Truth. But those who help us will be rewarded with the same measure they use to do us good (Luke 6.38).
Of one thing the Israelites could be sure: they would possess the lands of those people in Palestine. God promised to reward all those involved in His work in those days. It is the same today! Even though many events terrified His people, the Egyptian captivity would end – with their departure from Egypt. Natural man doesn’t understand the way the heavenly Father operates (1 Corinthians 2:14), but He is still the same!
The promises recorded in the Scriptures are meant for those who truly believe in the Lord. Christians not interested in searching – what the Word declares belongs to the saved – live a little better than the lost, but not all that God has for them. The Almighty doesn’t change nor fails to fulfill His Word, but His children must claim it by believing in it. He is the Righteous Judge of Eternity!
God promises to give us the Promised Land and to make our enemies marvel at His works, done through us. When we are going to rebuke an evil attack, using the Name of Jesus, the power available to each of us is far beyond what the devil could ever think God would give us! The Almighty doesn’t accept to see any of His children being defeated by the power of darkness (Luke 10.19); after all, we are the light of the world. God is tremendous!
The bible teaches us: Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2.15). Imagine a saved man, going into battle in Jesus’ Name, as His representative, but unprepared… For sure, he will bring shame to that Name. Don’t surrender!
When God brings any demon before you, or any problem, for you to destroy – don’t even think about backing down. Go with faith and a willingness to overcome, because the Lord will go before you in order to give you the victory! Remember that your defeat will be credited to the Church’s account. So be prepared and present yourself to be used, counting on divine mercy. However, when the fight breaks out, don’t admit to surrendering to evil.
For God, the battle will last until the final moment, without the slightest respite for the enemies. You will represent the Kingdom of God, as David did when facing Goliath. This young man didn’t measure himself by the size of his strength, but by the operation of the Name of the Lord, who will also use your life to do what is necessary. You were designed to bring glory to the Church!
In Christ, with love,

God of the extra help! It is good that we can count on You, guiding us in our struggles and giving us victory. You will always be glorified by those who belong to the Body of Christ. With Your help we will succeed.
Why let the enemy put You to shame, when You, our God, are ahead of us? You are the Man of War, who fights for us, gives us the extra help, and equips us with power to overcome the threats of the enemy. Hallelujah!
We declare, "We are no longer weak or powerless, before the enemy and his angels. You have given us garments of salvation, to make the evil one suffer the defeats with which he tries to bring us down. Your Name is the main weapon in our fight. Amen!
