Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.”  Exodus 3:5

Moses saw something that would change him forever. When he drew near to that plant, which had no value, he was under divine fire. Because of this, he would leave there prepared for the most noble mission of a person’s life: be part of humanity´s redemption. The attitude of this servant would be an example for us, who, likewise, are God’s instruments in His harvest.

We need to see what the Father presents to us. Then we will awaken to the reality of His love. His Word will never fail, even though all things fail. The servants of the Most High are treated the same way, according to the attention given to the Holy Book. Martha complained that if Jesus had been there, her brother would not have died, but the Master answered, I am the resurrection and the life (John 11:17-26). The problem is in not believing what He said.

It doesn’t matter how God will be glorified in your story; understand the revelation coming from Him and set out to fulfill it with all your heart. Now, asking Heaven’s help to examine yourself to see if anything is holding you back is fulfilling the Word, for David did so: And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:24). In the eternal Path, there isn´t and there won´t be a shadow of variation. So a curse without cause shall not alight (Proverbs 26:2).

Moses could not yet stand next to the Almighty, who is a Consuming Fire! To see the Lord from afar, he had to take off his shoes. His sandals separated him from that place, which was made holy by the Most High´s presence. Even if sanctified by the blood of Christ, the Lamb of God, we are not yet able to see Him, but one day, with glorified bodies, we will see Him and know Him as He is (1 John 3:2). The Lord surpasses everything we think of Him.

In His presence, in prayer and praise, or receiving His visit through the Word, we must tread on the ground which is being sanctified, with nothing separating us from His love (Romans 8:38,39). With the shoes of the preparation of the Gospel of peace, we will tread on serpents and scorpions, and all of the enemy´s power (Luke 10:19). But as we look to the glory of God, we must be in touch with the place where it is manifested and allow the divine radiance have free course in our lives.

Dialogue with the Most High will not happen if we are separated from His manifested power. Besides respecting Him, we must obey His commandments. The work is God’s and must be guided by Him. Moses’ mission was unique, full of challenges and threats, which would last more than 40 years. For this reason, he should listen carefully to the directions so as not to hinder the heavenly purpose. Be vigilant!

His mission is also huge, full of pleasant surprises, even if some, at the beginning and in the course of the days, seem sad and threatening. However, the Lord who has done everything, without measuring the consequences of what would happen to Him here on Earth, has come to fulfill with joy salvation´s perfect plan – which includes His presence and action, resulting in eternal glory for you.

In Christ, with love,

God, Consuming Fire! Such glory You revealed to Moses at the back of the desert , Your Mount Horeb! Indeed, everything about You is glorious and beautiful. Even our calling has Your perfect touch!

The order was clear: "Do not come here.” Moses obeyed and today, next to You, he must be seeing a little of the unveiling of Your glory. Father, this will last forever, and every day we will see how much the lost lose!

We beg for mercy for those who have lost their fear and live like those who do not yet know You. Make them wake up! If they continue in their error, they will be sent to eternal punishment. We pray that these people will come back to You!
