Nicodemus answered and said to Him, How can these things be? John 3: 9

It was too much information for Nicodemus, the prince of the Jews. Although he considered himself wise, he sought Jesus by night, because he did not want to be seen. The fact that he sought the Most High in secret, shows that Nicodemus lived in darkness. Those who are of the light walk in the day (John 11: 9), approach it and are instructed in the wisdom of God. When he heard about what he was missing out for being religious and not God’s servant, dazzled by so many new things, that prince asked how it could be done.

Let the Holy Spirit tell you of the treasures hidden in the Word. Then, surprised, you will exclaim that this is what you were looking for and did not know. The Lord does not neglect any information to those who walk uprightly, but teaches them to live differently from the religious, who serve man and not God. But the sincere will learn from the Most High. It pays off to be a servant!

It is sad to see people who started well, freeing themselves from sin and sanctifying themselves to the Lord, but when He changed their lives, they went into the webs of the enemy and disqualified themselves to eternal life. Just as many are satisfied with the sins they practice, they also give themselves completely to the devil, not knowing that their future will be the lake that will burn with fire and brimstone forever. Oh!

One of the men most used by the Lord was David. He was the shepherd of Israel, an invincible warrior, writer of many Psalms and a prophet as well. Although he learned from God, he confessed that such knowledge was too high for him by saying that the Lord completely laid His hand upon him (Psalm 139: 5,6). In fact, we know only a little of what the Father reveals to us through the Scriptures, and sometimes we feel ourselves to be masters of the truth. Poor us, if we think this way!

I have been used by the Most High in the healing many people. Whenever I see this happening, I confess I do not understand our God, because, in the blink of an eye, real wonders occur with the sick. There are cases where if I had not seen the difficulty of that person, I would say that they were exaggerating about what was done to them. We have much to learn from the Omniscient and Almighty!

As we read the Gospels, we can see how much Jesus demonstrated to be the Son of God in the things He said and taught. In a simple way, He spoke of precious things that have not been taught in any of the best universities in the world. Of course, the more we walk near Him, the more we will be instructed and then, like Nicodemus, we will exclaim, “How can this be?” Whoever does not know the Scriptures or the power of the true God loses  a lot.

With Christ, we will be wise in the things of this world and in the heavenly things. If we study what was recorded in the Holy Book, we will be able to solve the problems. When we learn from Jesus we learn what is right and in the day-to-day battles we succeed. Those who dedicate themselves to knowing the Truth do not waste time with long and expensive treatments.
