Vindicate me, O LORD, For I have walked in my integrity. I have also trusted in the LORD; I shall not slip. Psalm 26.1

The psalmist King David declared that he had walked in sincerity and trusted in the Lord, and would therefore not hesitate.  It would be great if we could have such great boldness in faith; so that this way we could always walk with assurance. There is no way one can reach this stage in faith in Jesus and lose any battle to the enemy.  God is our Strength and our Righteousness at all times, and we will not waiver.

The devil has, in his hands, those who are not sincere, who proffer “small’ lies, desire sinful things and carry still in their hearts certain songs of “worship”. They seem to be expressions of love for the Lord, but if we remove the Name of God and place the name of a woman, the change would fit perfectly. If we accept anything that is prohibited, the Savior will withdraw from us. However, if we are consecrated exclusively to God, the temptations will never bother us.

Sincerity makes us seek the Almighty intensively and even unconsciously. Don’t allow sinful practices to nest in your thoughts, but accept only that which is from the Lord, in order to receive peace and assurance. Everything is bad when we are far from the heavenly environment.  Keep God’s terms and declarations before your eyes and in your heart; this way the prince of darkness will not be able to enter any part of your life.

The Bible warns us that the devil prowls around us, roaring like a lion, seeking to devour us (1 Peter 5:8). Unfortunately many were devoured by him. Now, these people have become dangerous, even having humble appearances and seeming to be extremely religious.  Many of these so called “Christians” don’t even want to learn how to keep Satan far from them, accepting that this is the way that life is and their destiny is sealed. If they were sincere, they would open up to God, when being tempted, and would obtain help.

Beware and reject the will of the devil.  Those that are seeking the Almighty will never bow before any threat of the enemy.  One must chose to obey the will of the Lord or of the devil (Matthew 6:24).  Remember it is infinitely better to obey God, who is love.

Righteousness and sincerity qualify those who keep it to be protected by the Almighty and kept from the hate of the destroyer.  To walk in righteousness demands we deny the devil and his offers.  Strive to never betray the Lord, for if you do, no doubt, you will suffer a series of evils. This is exactly what the devil has in mind when he tempts you. Being evil by nature he only wants to destroy you.

The key to being sincere and righteous is to wait in God.  Those who don’t are lead into temptations, fall into sin and suffer all sorts of abuses and evil from the devil. We were saved to walk in complete, real and true freedom. Amen?

In Christ, with Love,

Lord! We want to be under Your protective mantle, in sincerity and righteousness, so we do not fall into the clutches of the devil. You have given us our salvation, forgiving us our sins.  Now, waiting in You, we are kept safe.

That we may never feel attracted or drawn to what Satan has to offer us, for our greatest desire is to continue to be a member of Your Family. Your good hand will lead and guide us in peace and assurance.

We do not accept that the lies of the enemy deprive us from true happiness that exists in our faith in Jesus. Teach us about our rights and property as saved; and this way we will praise Your majestic and wonderful Name. To You be the glory and the praise!
