Oh, bless our God, you peoples! And make the voice of His praise to be heard,  Psalm 66.8

There are those who may laugh at the title to this message, but the truth is that to receive blessings is marvelous.  Many say that they do not depend on the Source that blesses the people of God – Jesus -, because they just want to be delivered of a little evil or obtain one victory.  Often times, the devil makes a tremendous effort against his own malign nature, fooling people with something “good” but the bill that has to be paid will come, even in the form of rusty knives and pocket-knives.

According to this verse, we have to bless the Creator.  Evidently many do this from their mouths, and this is to no avail. For this reason, Jesus said that the Father seeks those that adore Him in Spirit and in truth (John 4:23).  How can someone say to the Lord that He is good, if the problems are not solved?  How many spend hours “praising and lauding” the Omniscient with words that have nothing to do with how they live?  Mercy!

To praise is to magnify one who has done good to us, by helping us or protecting us from any evil.  What can one think of a person who says we are the greatest and can do anything, and are thankful for what we did for them, if we are meeting them just now for the first time?  No doubt, we would think that this person was not in his right mind, or had ulterior motives and hidden interests behind their flattery, correct?

The Lord does not receive glory from men (John 5:41), is not swayed or convinced by any falsehood and does not accept unmerited praise. It is crucial to hear His Word, for once you are enlightened you have the tools to free yourself from what ails you and bring to existence those things that are not yet (Romans 4:17).  This way your praise will be received, accepted.

After being blessed, you are in condition to have the Lord hear your praise.  Besides, as you relate His doings in your life, the words that you enunciate are packed with power, being fully accepted by the Most High.  Otherwise, it will be a waste of time, and He will not receive it.  Therefore, be alert when in contact with the Scriptures, reading them or hearing them in a preaching.  Don’t lose time: whatever the Omnipotent shows you, claim for yourself immediately.

After receiving the Holy Spirit, when the Word becomes live to you, pray to the Father, thanking Him for what has been revealed.  By acting this way, faith will sprout and grow in your heart, and by claiming and laying hold, you will command the evil to leave, declaring that the promise now belongs to you.  This is the only safe and sure method.  Use it and be certified!

David faced the giant in reply to the divine touch in his inner being, and for this was declared to be a man according to the heart of God.  Many feel touched by the heavenly Father, but soon allow doubt to enter and ask for signs to confirm if the instructions or directions really come from Above. We know when it is the Lord or it is the devil that is speaking.  Certainly the Most High always reminds us of one of His verses related to His instructions so that we have no doubts
