The sons of Jacob did not have to be in the land of their enemies, but because they lacked the fear of God, they were handed over to one who could never have authority over them. Now, the Hebrews had received the revelation from the Almighty that no one would stand before them (Deuteronomy 1.30-33). Likewise, the members of the Body of Christ should never suffer the devil’s attacks, because the Lord has given them power over demons (Luke 10.19).
The following condition came out of God’s mouth: When they are in the land of their enemies. It came to pass because of the Israelites’ carelessness. If they had resisted temptation, the devil would have never had power over the elect according to divine foreknowledge. I will say it again: no servant of the Lord should be afflicted by the evil one, because each one was given the prerogative to nullify any work of the kingdom of darkness. Reconcile yourself to God and live!
In the adversaries’ territory, even the most consecrated person to God becomes an embarrassment if he fails to use the authority given by Christ. And what’s worse: the person refuses to see that he has done wrong. Instead of putting into action the Lord-given power to become a child of God, they accuse Him of neglecting those who “put” their trust in Him. Now, the Most High is good and honors those who honor Him. Have you been honoring Him?
Be sincere with the Father of lights, who brightens your life by the Word, and pay attention to what He shows you. Keep in mind the understanding of what the Lord says in the Word: Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, so a curse without cause shall not alight (Proverbs 26.2). Change the way you pray. Ask to be shown you the reason why you are not being answered as the Lord would like to do on your behalf. The error is always in us.
God guarantees that He will never reject His own, but they really need to surrender to Him. Those who give in to the devil are no longer servants of the Most High. But when he or she repents, the revelations of the Word soon begin to guide them in their attitudes. By listening to the Lord’s directions, such person will be successful in their faith in Christ. God is unchanging: For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob. (Malachi 3.6). Change your being!
No matter how rebellious you have been, the Lord will not give up on you to the point of destroying you. Therefore, obey God in order to come back into fellowship with Him. Open your heart and soul to be forgiven right now. Why let the demon of lust be the master of your life, when the God of holiness wants to turn you into a great blessing? Those who love Him are loved by Him (John 14.21,23). Get right with your heavenly Father!
No statement of the Almighty, addressed to His people, is stronger than the one in the verse studied in this message. He will never break His covenant, because He is the Lord, your God! Take the opportunity to renew your faith and be an instrument in the hands of the Father. He is faithful!
In Christ, with love,

God of the rightful covenant! What a Lord You are! Even as we are overwhelmed by sins, You invite us to confess them and to walk with You in truth. Thank You, holy Father, for this Covenant! There is hope for us!
Now Your children are coming to You, acknowledging how far they have gone, and how close they want to be to You from now on. Many are being snatched from the fire, coming out of the hellish flames, to walk within the heavenly flames. You are God!
You are tremendous in loving us. Forever we will be Yours, and nothing will take us away from eternal happiness. Listen to what the people who repent and confess Jesus as Savior and Lord of their lives say. To You be the glory, the honor and the praise!
