He who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved. Psalm 15:5

If you do not want to be shaken by temptations, follow the Scriptures in everything, remembering that the day will come when you will answer for your actions regarding God’s recommendations, which should be considered commandments. The Lord would never speak to you anything unimportant, so whenever He warns you about something, pay attention to Him.

The promise to those that hear the Word is to be able to lend to many people, but such people will not borrow. By lending money to someone, do not charge exorbitant interest. If you do, you will break the divine protection over your life. Failure to pay attention to the Most High will deprive us of His fellowship. Even without feeling anything special in what you are told by Heaven, believe, because God knows everything.

In the Law of Moses, when an Israelite lent money to a person of his people, he could not charge any interest from them (Deuteronomy 23:19). The Lord wanted everybody’s well being! Those that suffered an unexpected loss are not to blame for such misfortune. There are compelling reasons that make us borrow money.

Nowadays, with monetary correction, we have to be careful when lending money to someone. Over time, if we have not charged an extra percentage, the amount we receive will not be enough to buy what is necessary for us. There is no prohibition for moderate interests. If someone wants to live on borrowing money, they must have legal authorization to do so.

It is not lawful to abuse those who need some resource in an emergency, for they have to pay off their obligations. The best thing to do is seek the Lord, in His Word, in all that you do. Then, you won´t have problems with the authorities and on Judgment. One criticism: in Brazil, the interest rates charged by credit cards are so injurious.

Another mistake committed by some is to accept a bribe to bear false testimony, leading an innocent person to lose their right. Now, those who act this way are vulnerable to the enemy, who will undoubtedly take advantage of this opportunity to attack them. This should be taught to all Christians, because even those who are filled with the Holy Spirit oftentimes lose focus, thus, the devil attacks their lives. Watch and pray!

In any situation, be good, in order not to give the adversary any reason to harm you. Be in fellowship with the Father, just believe in Him. Then your light will shine brighter and brighter, for you are light of the world (Matthew 5:14). Understand: many people expect you to become a winner; after all, your example will be of great value to them.

In Christ, with love,

God, our Counselor! We cannot give ourselves to usury, which not always refers to the issue of lending money. You forbid us to take anything from someone because of a need. If we do, we will lose Your protection and suffer.

It would be good if all Your children would assume Your Word. Then, we would see some who are part of Your Body receiving Your assistance in times of difficulties, which, in fact, wouldn´t even exist. Help us live abundantly!

Your salvation supplies our needs in Christ Jesus. If we are always in fellowship with You, we will be warned of future events, and Satan will not sift us as He did with Peter.
