18/09/2018 - MERCY TRIUMPHS OVER JUDGMENT

For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. James 2:13

When hearing about the eternal judgment people tremble in fear.  Since there is not one just, the plain fact of thinking about being before the Judge, who is holy and pure, makes their heart tremble.  But is it possible that those who practice the Word will also have to undergo this judgment?  The answer is no.  Those who persevere to the last will be saved.  However, those who are destined to the throne of judgment will be there only to hear their condemnation and sentencing.

Is it true what the doctrine says that once saved you are saved forever? Yes and no.  Yes for those who persevered in doing good and no for those who think that they can keep on sinning the same way as the lost.  This person thinks that by being saved they is exempt from the final judgment.  Poor soul!  Just like the sow after taking a bath wallows again in the mud, this individual has soiled himself again.

The merciful that help the lost and take them to salvation are exempt from condemnation, because mercy rejoices in triumph over judgment.  However, those who did not have mercy with the lost, because they chose other things to do instead of worrying about sinners, will be set before the throne of judgment.  Those who did not keep watch and allowed iniquity into their lives will face the judgment to receive what they deserve because of their works.

The devil is able to make some be used in the mission work, in light of believing that God does not take into account the attitudes of His children, as long as they work for Him.  This is a serious deception, because who is using the people is not the Lord but Satan.  Fresh or healthy water does not sprout from a bitter fountain, but only bitter water (James 3:11).  The Scriptures say clearly:  we must be holy because the Lord is holy (Leviticus 20:7).

When a Christian sins, he was not merciful with the person whom he sinned against.  We cannot defraud anyone in sexual or in business concerns and matters.  Those who steal are included in the list described in 1 Corinthians 6:10  To just keep talking about your error is insufficient, for if you betrayed, stole or did only half of what Paul prohibit in the mentioned verse, you will not inherit the Kingdom of God, if you do not repent and confess your transgressions.

Those who are saved and persevere in doing good can rest, for they are free from being condemned; after all, they have passed from death to life (John 5:24).  However, those who sin must seek those they deceived or dishonored, confess their fault, return to the altar and leave their offering, that was forbidden for they had not yet set themselves right (Matthew 5:23,24).  Observe what the Bible says, and not the teachings of man.

Do not fool with your eternal joy; on the contrary, go into prayer as soon as possible, confessing your error and getting rid of it.  Then consecrate yourself to God! Those who go to be judged on the last Day will hear the sentence that they deserve for  the fact that they disdained divine mercy and grace.  Is it worth being condemned?

In Christ, with Love,

Lord! We come before You seeking help.  If there still be in us anything that would lead us to be judged on that Day, show us.  We want to be acquitted by the blood of Jesus who paid the price for our salvation.

That all the brothers in Christ that live in sin may come to their senses, waking up to the Truth, because in their state of sleep, they do not perceive their errors that will prevent them from entering the eternal Home, even though there is still time to repent.

Those that received Jesus and persevered in the Word have left death for life and will therefore not be condemned. However, those who fell in error and did not fulfill the teaching of Your Word will have problems before the judgment throne.  Mercy for these people!
