He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18

The missionaries that spread the Gospel in our land and in other countries, have to be very well with the Lord, because they are instruments used to lead the lost to salvation.  Otherwise they will keep the lost separate from eternal joy.  To carry out the mission carelessly, without sufficient and proper preparation is to be at fault (Jeremiah 48:10).  To those who would so do, there are serious warnings in the Bible.  In these warnings God says that the careless will have to account for the loss that anyone comes to suffer (Mark 9:41-44). 

If the one who preaches is in sin, or has a non-confessed transgression, – not forgiven – he will not be used by the Lord as he should be.  The pastor should not be in the pulpit without the proper consecration, otherwise the fire of the Altar will burn him and he will suffer eternal loss.  Those who are in error will do better by finding an odd job to support themselves and not be involved in anything that might condemn them for eternity.  Mercy!

When we deliver the Word, God is observing what is going on in the hearts of the listeners.  If the anointment is not in us, what will be of these people?  Certainly they will not have their hearts inclined to repentance. Without the conviction of the Holy Spirit, they will not believe and therefore will not be saved.  Our word must have the authority to shake their lives.  This way the devils will tremble in desperation with all the fire over them.

As they see the power of the Almighty in action, the lost will believe in Him and will be called sons and daughters of God.  However, if there is no divine action, the evil spirits will not move, and the religious service will be like if it had been directed by self-help leaders, whose power of persuasion is great, but with no effect in the spiritual realm.  His converts will be mere projects of the flesh, and of no worth.  Have we delivered the Word as Paul delivered?

It is possible to conduct services with the same presence of God as in the days of Jesus, when the sick were healed, the devils manifested and were expelled, and all sorts of miracles were performed.  Then on seeing the Almighty act, people will seek Him out and be saved.  As long as they have no basis to believe in the Gospel, they will never decide for Jesus.  The heavenly Father honors the true preaching of the Word.

No one must be exalted but Christ.  When God’s minister boasts that he is consecrated, telling stories of what happened in certain places, but nothing special happens in those religious services, his listeners will doubt the veracity of his words. As we are used with power, all will call on the Name of the Lord, will obtain salvation, and receive the solutions to their problems. 

The responsibility to lead the Name of Jesus before any congregation is ours.  However, if we are in sin and not in communion with the Most High, nothing will happen.  Scriptures say that the people followed Jesus because they saw and heard signs that He performed over the sick, the blind and the lame.  Where there is the power to heal and to deliver there will always be the power to save.  Halleluiah!
