When David’s men arrived, they gave Nabal this message in David’s name. Then they waited. 1 Samuel 25.9

The task given by David to his leaders was excellently fulfilled; every child of God must do the same. One day we will be brought face to face with the Savior, and He will be there to judge whether or not we have obeyed His commandments. This will prove who has truly loved Him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me (John 14:24).

Be very careful with regards to the mission the Father has given you, for if you are negligent, you will suffer loss. Our works will pass through the fire, and it will be shown whether we have done them in the Lord, seeking our own interests or carelessly: each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is (Corinthians 3.13). It’s time to examine ourselves!

The books will be opened, and we will confess the effort we´ve made to fulfill the Lord’s statutes: And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books (Revelation 20.12). That which is revealed in the 66 books of the Holy Scriptures must come to pass. Stay alert and pray!

We must go where Jesus tells us to go, speak what He tells us to speak, and do the same works that He did. This is how the Master expressed Himself: Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father (John 14.12). Those who do whatever they want, don´t love the Lord.  If this is the case with anyone, he has to prepare himself for the Great Day. If he continues to act this way, he will suffer eternal damnation. Mercy!

David’s messengers gave us a great example. Having been trained by him, they carried out the orders they were given: they came, they spoke, and they kept silent. They didn’t put up any arguments, but were faithful to the words of their commander. It is not necessary to invent means to attract people to our services, but proceed as the Lord directed:  I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you (John 13.15).

Whoever does more than he has been commanded will be in trouble at the Judgment, and therefore, he must get right with the Lord now – and act rightly: Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son (2 John 1.9). To prevaricate is to make a deal for which you were not authorized. We only need that which God has given us!

Recalling what the young men did: first, they stood before the mighty one of Maon; then, they told him everything David had said, and then they remain silent. They were very wise! God’s servant must add nothing to His statements, otherwise he will be found a liar. Speak what God commands you in Jesus’ Name, and He will do the work.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

> Today´s Message

God who assists us in everything! We need to serve You as Your faithful ambassadors. Then we will see how much You will bless and guide us. You have called us to carry out Your will, and You will go with us wherever You send us.

Help us to speak to the powerful men of this world according to Your instructions, and to act - according to the power granted to us. We must represent You, just as Your beloved Son did. Thus, we will be justified in our calling and choice.

We will keep silent when facing the aggressions we will receive or when we hear the decision we didn't want. Those who don’t love You don’t think about what they say or do. Our mission is to convey the Message that saves, transforms and completely fulfills.
