He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved. Psalm 62.6

In the world we will always have tribulation (John 16:33), but by believing in the Lord, we don’t need to fear what may come.  After all, by knowing how our brothers in the past overcame their trials and by examining what they did to defeat the enemy, we learn how to act and assume our inheritance in Christ.  Notice how Jesus resisted the devil, when Satan himself tempted him: He simply used the Word of God (Matthew 4:1-11).

There is no other Rock besides the Lord; therefore, whoever is righteous will be steadfast on the true Foundation: Jesus – the Word.  Then, even if the most powerful winds were to blow, knocking everything down in its path, those who trust in God will not be shaken. Do not live irresponsibly, thinking that temptation only happens to the weak, that have no moral values, because even the Savior experienced this, but He did not give in to the devil. 

Those who are in Christ will never bow to the wicked propositions nor will they become presumptuous, because they never fear the threats of the enemy.  This person trusts in divine mercy and knows that they will not fall. Even though everything indicates that there is no solution, this person remains steadfast and resistant, based on the Scriptures.  There are sad examples in the Bible of people who did not remain watchful and fell for the deceptions of the enemy.  Don’t be one of them.

The Lord is our salvation, and that is why we will never be defeated or ashamed.  This declaration reinforces that, as we make use of what He says, we will be free from all evil temptations, illnesses and infirmities.  If the warnings of the Master that say it is up to man to be watchful and pray not to fall into temptation (Matthew 26:41) are taken seriously, you will never be drawn away from your position in Him.  Believe it!

The Most High is everything that He promises, to man, in His Word.  This way, those who make the Lord their Stronghold will never be handed over to the enemy.  The Word is God and as you use It, you allow Him to enter into battle for you and make you more than a conqueror.  So right now, take possession of what the Almighty declares about you, and when you mention the Word you will rid yourself from the enemy.

Do not be shaken when trials come, but stay alert, because Satan will never announce his presence and tell his plans to defeat you.  He often acts in subtle ways, leading you to believe that, in your case, there is no problem in sinning, because God understands that you have to be joyful, have pleasure or supply some need.  Be careful! If you fall, you will have made the devil your lord.  Have mercy!

If you live in distress, you have not yet learned how to do the simplest and most efficient thing that exists: believe in the Lord.  If He is your Rock, you will not be shaken; if He is your salvation, you will not be defeated; if He is your Defense you will not be defeated.  What will you do from now on?  Obey God and be a winner in everything!  Halleluiah!
