16/05/2020 - OPPORTUNITY IN JERUSALEM

Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches.. John 5:2

Those who are steadfast in the Lord see opportunities that many people do not even notice. The believer contemplates the deeds of God and receives revelations of the Word of which the “normal” Christian is unaware. If walking with the Father is good, we have to do it all the time, learning to do His will. Jesus credited His operations to the Father because He saw Him perform them (John 5:19). Because we never see the Almighty act, we can do nothing.

The party was set loose in Jerusalem, friends were fraternizing, and the people were happy for what they heard and saw, but the Savior, who had come to set us an example in everything, did not care about their attitudes, so that was where they stayed. the sick and disabled. He knew there was someone in need of healing. If we walk according to the Spirit, we will know where and in whom the Lord desires to fulfill His desire.

We have not been saved not only to escape Hell, which is a great thing, but also to have and keep the commandments, proving our love for God. And Jesus said, He that has my commandments, and keep them, he that loves me; and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him (John 14:21). Because Christ does not manifest Himself to us, we may conclude that we do not love Him. Because of such easy detail, we have lost so much of our Savior.

Whoever ignores the will of God will never succeed in the walk of faith in Christ. If you despise Him, that person will be defiled (1 Sam 2:30). See how you treat the Lord, for He will treat you the same way. Then there is no point in reciting the verses you like so that He will fulfill them in your life. Now it is clear that God only helps those who keep the commandments of the Bible.

Jesus told a parable about the great supper prepared with His death, saying that the invitation was given to many, but they made various excuses not to go. The Father was angry with the guests and told the servant to go quickly to the streets and neighborhoods of the city and bring the poor, the crippled, the lame and the blind (Mt 22: 8,9). It is good not to be carried away by the business of this life; In this way you will enjoy supper that can solve your problems.

The Most High knows where He wants to put it in the work and decides when to use it, so never refuse His direction. The servants of the Most High will not lose their blessing as long as they are faithful and obey Him in everything. God will always fulfill what He has promised. The Israelites Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego only emerged victorious from the furnace because they believed in the Almighty.

In your city and region, there are places like the Bethesda tank that need to be visited, or God cannot accomplish His purpose through you. You can choose the comfort of your home, or be among the sick, oppressed, and lost. However, choose only what the Lord points out to you, because He will be waiting for you. Do not look for facilities! Be obedient, and God will do wonders through your actions.

In Christ, with love,

Lord of opportunities! Your mercies are renewed every morning; Therefore, we may regret not fulfilling Thy will. You take pleasure in us, and you will no doubt give us other chances, helping us not to waste them again.

If Jesus had not gone to the pool of Bethesda, the lesson of healing the paralytic and others in the same account would have been missed. Therefore, we thank you for your Son's obedience and plead that you help us to be obedient to You until death.

How many people will come to You for our instrumentality? Let this happen as you have planned. We need to understand Your plans regardless of the price to be paid, which is certainly infinitely lower than Jesus'.
