I pour out before him my complaint; before him I tell my trouble. Psalm 142: 2

It is bad to keep disappointments in the course of life. The human structure is fragile to accumulate negative feelings. No matter what you have suffered; never let the sun go down while you are still angry (Ephesians 4:26). It is true that offenses mistreat us greatly, when they come from whom we cherish, but if we keep this in our hearts, we will suffer more from remembrance.

Resentful ones, when soaking the pain, will produce in themselves identical moral and physical damage to the one on which they were hurt. Therefore, get rid of what can cause you greater damage. By getting rid of the bad memories, you will look great, free from all evil influence that Satan inflicted upon you. The best way to live well is to expose your grievances to the Lord.

David understood the venomous capacity of resentment and then poured out all his complaint before the Most High, thus, becoming free. Do the same; do not let sadness overpower you, for it is like an evil seed, which will produce diabolical fruit. The counsel of God is for our good, and the wise take it to heart as soon as they hear it. Live your freedom in Christ!

The pastor of Israel understood that he should cast his affliction before the divine face, which means to follow the biblical understanding on this matter. He had a cheerful countenance because he knew how to do things well. He was a brave man of war, serious in words and kind. The Lord was with him in everything he did. The “recipe” provided by the Bible must be assumed immediately.

Seek the face of God, and from one moment to the next you will get rid of any material or emotional martyrdom. When you understand the Word, keep this knowledge in your heart forever. When you are attacked by the tempter, resist him, quoting the promises received and, however difficult or painful the path may be, keep yourself on it for the sake of the One who died for you.

When you put your anguish at the foot of the cross, expose it completely. If you don´t do this, an evil seed will sprout in your spirit. This is dangerous because, just as the herbs burst the stones, a little bit of sadness will make you given in to hatred. Then, from the position of one who was offended, you will become an offender. Be the person God planned for you to be in Him, and He will be the One who prepared Himself to be in you.

There is nothing more rewarding than to love your enemy, to bless those who curse you, to do good to those who hate you, and to pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. This proves that you are a child of God, and He is your Father. React in a holy way, not like a wicked person. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5: 20). It is time to pray, exposing your concern to the Lord!
