“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. Jeremiah 23: 5

The promise made through Jeremiah confirmed what the Lord said from the beginning of creation: the Messiah would come and bring an end to the state of evil things set upon the Earth through the sin of Adam. God would raise up to David the One who would be able to do the work of salvation. It is evident that the Lord did not speak of a man, but of His Son, who would become man to redeem mankind from our fall. He did as it was prophesied!

The human being was hopelessly lost. Therefore, we had to be born again-of water, the Word, and of the Spirit (John 3: 5). Human race did not submit and that was a reality, and without the new birth, our destiny would be eternal perdition. The plan of complete and eternal recovery of those who believed in the work of Calvary has been fulfilled, when the Savior would become a curse in our place, taking our sin and consequent punishment (Isaiah 53: 4-5).

So the fair Branch was raised to David. Now, we do not have to wait for another! We need to live the message brought by Him, believing in His perfect substitution and the full payment of our debt. From that moment on, Christ gave us the power to do the same works He did: the healing the sick, delivering those who are disturbed by evil spirits, and restoring all people to a life worthy and pleasing to God. This is the message to be announced to the lost.

Jesus is the King who has recovered our dignity by us believing in Him and made us kings (Revelation 5: 10). Therefore, He is the King of kings, who rules through us, as long as we assume what He has made us to be. The title given to Him will have no reason to be if we do not act like kings. We have become sovereigns in everything that concerns us. This is the right way to honor and glorify the Lord.

God will prosper us by our actions in relation to what the Bible claims to be our right under the direction of the Holy Spirit. When we refuse to heed temptations and assume what Jesus did for us, we succeed and become the right people in the Father’s hands. But if we remain silent and fail to keep the call, the Most High will not work in our favor. Then the work done by Christ will be as if it were nonexistent in our lives.

The church must practice judgment, which is preaching and action through the sacrifice of Christ for the sake of humanity. Why despise Him, yielding again to the whims of the enemy? Apply judgment in all that is wrong and in every temptation; after all, what Jesus did does not need to be done again, but recognized as the Truth. Halleluiah!

To apply righteousness is to keep the promises and keep the commandments revealed in the Scriptures. With this, we take away from the devil the opportunity to touch or oppress us. The time to put an end to the mistakes is now; therefore, act in the Name of Jesus. Suffering is less than the authority you were given. So, exercise your right and be free!

In Christ with love,

Lord, fair Branch! What titles will we give to Your Son, if He is all in and for us? The days arrived when, in Bethlehem of Judah, the smallest of the villages of Israel, the Savior was born. He has done the necessary work, so we are free!

Our freedom is complete in Jesus. Thus, where there is disease, there must be healing; where there is disturbance, there must be peace, and where there is weakness, the strength of Your Name must show that, in fact, You rebuild what has been destroyed.

Jesus reigns today as well as the one whom He has saved; the Son of God prospers today and those who believe in His Name do His will, practicing judgment and righteousness. In this way, You are glorified with our acts in favor of humanity. Thank you!
