It´s good to remember past situations, sad or happy – so that we don’t fall into the devil’s clutches, as Adam did, who deliberately ate of the fruit forbidden by the Most High and saw how much his attitude cost him. Whenever temptation comes to you, rebuke it immediately. If you give way to the devil, you will allow him to dominate you, and the price will be very high – until you repent of your mistake.
In the Baal-Peor episode, the Israelites mixed with the Moabites, prostituting themselves with them. The result: 24 thousand people were hanged (Numbers 25:1-9). The consequence of sin will always be the worst possible: eternal death. Those who neither watch nor pray, when they sense temptation – declare that they don’t want to listen to the Holy Spirit, who can convince them of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16.8). You are responsible for your actions!
Remember the harsh sentence that Adam and Eve received for their transgression, which causes mankind to suffer the onslaughts of demons – even today! This oppression only ceases to exist for the true servants of God. Whoever doesn’t resist the devil will have him around all the time (James 4.7). The person who accepts the devil’s proposals becomes his slave (Romans 6:16). Free yourself from this slavery!
The ancient promises are our inheritance. Everything that the Eternal promised to Abraham belongs to us; therefore, we can claim such rights. We are part of the great nation of faith, blessed first in the patriarch and finally in Jesus. The son of Tera was told that he would be a blessing (Genesis 12.2). The Bible says: Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3.21).
Out of nothing the Lord made all things. Surely, when the consummation of the ages comes, God will create in us-something never said, seen or imagined, and we will be like Him, for we don’t despise His great love. Poor those who were enlightened, but then went astray, loving the present ages, acting dishonestly and giving themselves over to the devil – to practice all sorts of impurities. Be vigilant!
Look at the work done on the cross of Calvary, where Christ paid with His blood for our sins, so that we could leave the devil’s kingdom, be saved, and be part of His Body. There is no more condemnation for whoever accepts Jesus and becomes a child of God, as long as they do not live according to the flesh, but according to His Spirit. Remember this important detail and live!
Never forget that on the Cross, after receiving our pains and infirmities, as well as our iniquities and the punishment that brings us peace, He declared: “It is finished.” (John 19.30). Nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ, the beloved Savior. Declare yourself free from all evil now and live a blessed life.
In Christ, with love,

Only true God! We remember the wiles of Satan, lest any error take us out of Your hands or put us under the bondage of the dark empire. We are set free in Christ, filled with Your Spirit and Your wonderful power!
The sins of Israel will not cause us to stumble again. As the pure Church of Your Son, we don't want to cause scandal. We are Yours in everything to go all the way, without letting anything of the devil overpower us. We are thankful for Your blessing!
We bring to mind Jesus' words when He declared that all was finished. He didn't lie nor give reason for us to distrust His Word. So we accept no evil in us. We resist the devil in Jesus' Name!
and Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
