again He designates a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” after such a long time, as it has been said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts.” Hebrews 4:7

Failing to obey God is a very serious mistake, as Adam did. Although he heard from the Lord the warning not to eat the forbidden fruit, he ignored the warning and transgressed. Because of his disobedience, he was separated from the Creator, dying spiritually. Moreover, because we descend from him, we are in that same condition, which, in biblical language, means death.

Divine orders must be fully respected. Those who fulfill them prove their love for Him, but those who disobey Him attest to the contrary. On a daily basis, we are challenged to demonstrate whether we love the Lord or not. So prove that you love Him and are interested in doing His will!

The fact that God designates again means that He gives us a new chance to get it right and not suffer eternally because of our lack of zeal for His holy purpose. Our decisions bring us closer or further from Him. May we reaffirm our love and our subjection to the Lord at all times, making ourselves loved by Him.

Later on, the Most High determined something that is still valid: Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart. We cannot waver in the face of this ordinance. On the contrary, we must fight for it to be fulfilled exactly as revealed. Those who value their life must love God, who, in turn, will love them.

The Scriptures, between the lines, warn us not to be hardened about the Lord’s command; otherwise, we will prove that we prefer to be in sin and will not enter eternal rest. Have this latent warning within you: do not stiffen your neck (Acts 7:51). With joy and reverence, listen to God’s voice.

Outside of the Lord’s rest, you will be in eternal torment. This place was not prepared for any human being, but for the devil and his angels. Therefore, be alert to what the Father says to you. Those who comply with heavenly ordinances will be fulfilled. How about praying for the forgiveness of your faults now?

If I could give an advice to anyone who has deviated from the Path of Heaven, it would be: “Come back to the Lord soon, because you have much to gain!” Examine whether you have persevered in sound doctrine! What God spoke to you remains valid, because He watches over His Word (Jeremiah 1:12)!

In Christ, with love,

God and Lord of the new warning! We don't want to be like the Israeli rebels. Out of fear, they lost the opportunity to honor You. You had already done much for them; then they would only need to go up and possess the land of the Amorites, but they didn´t!

We are grateful for the new opportunity. Knowing You and participating in Your power, Your hand will guide us to the end. Then, one day, in Glory, we will be received by You, who loved us so much. You are much more than we have learned and desired.

We wish to hear Your voice and take part in what You have prepared for those who honor and serve You. Talk to us about what we have done, or what we should do, because our faith is in You! Amen!
