22/05/2021 - RESISTING TO BLOODSHED

You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. Hebrews 12:4

Our fight against sin won’t end in this life. Satan is preparing situations in which, if we don’t truly belong to God, we will fall. Be sober, and before responding to those who ask for explanations about your faith, hear what heaven is saying. Then, under the fear of the Lord, repeat the biblical declarations about certain subjects. Remember that we’re fighting a battle against evil!

Never be disappointed when you’re tempted (James 1:2-4); just pray, thanking the Father for protecting your life and giving the protection you need to live in this perverse world. The best way to protect yourself against the tricks of the enemy is to have the Word of God in the tip of your tongue. Wisdom and science can’t stand against the Word of God. As you speak to the Lord, you’re shutting the mouth of those who were sent from hell to trick you.

Be certain of this: God won’t allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear; with temptation, He will provide an escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). That’s how David brought his enemies to shame, and you will do the same. Seek guidance from the Lord, so you will follow His ways and say only what He reveals to you. Walking with God, you will be successful in everything.

Not always temptation will encourage you to commit adultery, steal or do some other indecent thing. The devil is capable of “helping” you to stay focused on whatever he wants to show you. That way, you will see the same as Eve saw: So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate (Genesis 3:6).

The offer the evil one makes doesn’t matter; resist and don’t accept it. He offered Jesus all the kingdoms of this world and his own glory: Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” (Matthew 4:8,9). However, Christ responded with Scriptures. Those who use the Word as consuming fire will defeat the devil!

If necessary, dedicate your life to resist some sort of sin, because in the end, you will be victorious and take as a reward the crown that the righteous God will give on judgement day: knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. (Colossians 3:24). Serve the Lord and resist the enemy, and he will flee from your life. Remember: Satan and his demons were defeated by Jesus!

Make yourself available to our Heavenly Father, rejecting temptation. You will notice that God is always faithful. If we are unfaithful, He will remain faithful, because He cannot deny Himself (2 Timothy 2:13). One day, He will wipe from our eyes every tear and will take us to His kingdom of glory. Now, those who deny Him, will realize how stupid they were and will march onto the lake of sulfur and fire. Be vigilant!

In Christ, with love,

Dr. Soares

God, our fortress in battles! We will fight the forces of darkness because that’s what You’ve told us to do. We are fighting a decisive war for millions of people who need to be set free from the forces of the evil one. You servants will thrive!

You, Lord Almighty, declared that You haven’t given us a spirit of fear, but of power. Because of that, we must consider ourselves victorious people, because we represent You! Your power will honor us in everything we do under Your name.

This is Your order: “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” With assurance, we declare that the victory belongs to You and Your people against the forces of darkness. We won’t fear evil, but we will wait on You. In Your name, we will work many wonders!
