Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7

To submit oneself to God is to surrender to the Word, dressing oneself with it and marching in to battle against evil with the certainty of victory.  Jesus was the greatest example of this, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men (Philippians 2:6-7).  This testimony must be a beacon to your life. Halleluiah!

As you perceive that God is speaking to you through the Scriptures, submit to Him and take up what He says as divine will for your life.  Being found in human form, Christ humbled Himself being obedient unto death, and death on the cross, the most humiliating.  Therefore, the Father exalted Him and gave Him a Name above all names. (Philippians 2:8-9).  This way all will kneel before Him and His All-Powerful Name.

Many Christians err in not considering or meditating on the significance of being a child of God.  Those who apply themselves to this matter become ministers of the New Testament and can bless not only themselves but those that seek them for this. As we are His children we have rights and obligations.  The Almighty expects much more from His children because they will always be recognized as such and served as such.

On submitting to the Lord, you delve deeper into the Word and make it become your stronghold, your refuge and your rescue in the times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). It has the necessary power to do what is declared.  This way, the error and assorted stumbles will become less and less in your life, and you will fulfill the purpose and plan of the Most High since He created you.

Those that interact with God are surrounded by the Consuming fire and are never ashamed or defeated.  Your enemies will think twice before attacking you, for you have also become this fire.  Jesus taught: I and the Father are one (John10:30).  As you assimilate and understand this, you can confess it to be true to you, and you will become whom the Father prepared and sent to rescue the needy.  What will be your decision?

To submit to the heavenly Father is to let Him be your Shepherd, like David did (Psalm 23:1), and never was in want.  On leading you, although often times the Lord’s lead seems awkward or senseless, continue to trust and expect the reason for this direction.  Then, when the fight is over, you will confirm that which had to be done.  By trusting in the Lord, you will be the great blessing He had planned.

Obeying God you become one united with Him, and then you and yours will never be defeated by the devil.  When the heavenly Father gives and order, He is responsible for your life.  Therefore, defeat the enemy in battle by using the power of the Creator of the Universe which is purposed to be your God.  He who submits to the Most High will be exalted in all things, but the rebel will be excluded from participating in His works.
