Few people have examined this guidance that Jesus gave. He wants us to pray for the work of God. Only He can choose and send workers who will carry out His will. When the man chooses, most of the time he makes mistakes. The Master said that He receives neither the testimony nor the glory of men (John 5: 34-41). So the outcome of what the person chose is not in accordance to the the Lord’s purpose, therefore, it will never be something good.
The Most High is always very clear. He has the prerogative of choosing His servants in these days of turmoil and disturbance. Carnal opinions have prevailed in world politics and, unfortunately, in the Church as well. It is necessary to observe the Scriptures so that we come to fulfill the divine plan. Christ taught that we should pray to the Father to send laborers to His harvest.
God’s work is done with His wisdom, according to the Holy Bible, which was written to show us the purposes of the Lord and instruct us how to proceed when facing proposals and opportunities. This helps us to carry out the work that God began in the garden of Eden, when He prophesied that the devil would bruise the heel of the woman’s seed, but Christ would crush his head (Genesis 3:15). We cannot fail in our mission!
When God is guiding the Church, things go as they should. However, when man takes decisions, everything does not go out as planned and generates pain and suffering. In the absence of people trained by the Lord who are dedicated to fulfilling the Go, there will be suffering and chaos. The Church needs to cry out to the Father for good laborers.
Even consecrated men, like Samuel, can err when they see one like Eliab, with his natural beauty, and choose him to lead the holy people. There are those who look at the pulpit and see a chance to work because, since they did not prepare themselves professionally, they are not capable of working elsewhere. When the flesh takes over, absurd situations occur in the church, and the devil comes into the Master’s harvest. This way, there will only be confusion in the pulpit.
This is the right time for people like Elijah, one of the residents of Gilead, to appear. He did not let himself be carried away by the fear because of who the king was, , but rebuked him for the way he led the nation. Since the monarch did not want to hear the exhortation, there was drought on the land (1 Kings 17), leading all people to reflect on who was the true God. When we accept the enemy’s proposals, a ton of wrong things comes our way. Mercy Lord!
As a part of the Body of Christ, do your share, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (James 5:16). When the Church prays, God sends an angel to jail and removes from there the one who already was sentenced to be executed. The Almighty has called us today to carry out His will, which is to save all. Do not ignore the holy convocation! Love the Lord!
In Christ, with love,

Lord our Convener! It's good that You have chosen us! We are here to fulfill Your calling. This is the way to fulfill the work as You have ordained us. To You be all glory!
The northern kingdom would be utterly lost in witchcraft if Elijah was not praying for his nation. When he was sent to rebuke the wicked Ahab, he went in Your Name and did as he was commanded. Those were difficult years, but You were glorified in them!
Its important that sinners hear Your voice. But if the laborers do not have Your anointing, or if they are in sin, then Your voice will not come out through them, and sinners will not convert. In the Name of Jesus, send laborers to Your harvest!
and Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
