10/05/2016 - THE CERTAINTY OF THOSE WHO CALL UPON THE LORD

And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved    Acts 2.21

Although it is a short declaration, it brings numerous blessings. It´s not necessary to speak much to be heard, but with faith, and within the limits given by the Scriptures to those who believe in the Most High. The prayer God listens to, and consequently generates the expected result is that of faith, which is made with declarations from the Bible. Therefore, never pray just for the sake of it, for that is like digging a hole in the water. 

There is one secret: when you need divine help, call upon the Name that is above all names. Those who haven’t learned how to do this yet don’t know how to be a winner. Besides, those who think they are strong enough and don’t need to “bother” the Lord are actually constantly afflicted by the evil works. Now, the Almighty says He likes to hear our voice; thus, we must never stop talking to Him about everything. 

Ever since the day Enosh – Seth´s son and Adam´s grandson (Gen 4:25-26) – was born, the majestic Name began to be called upon, and with this, the power of God began to help all those people who made the simple decision, the most important of them all. Those who don’t cry out to the Lord don’t make His power come into action. Although everyone has the right to enjoy the abundant life offered by Jesus, only those who make use of their prerogatives eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19). 

The enemy cannot continue to oppress those who call upon this mighty powerful Name with all their heart. Now, for the Omnipotent to come into action, we have to call upon the Name of Jesus. Then, we will be able to rest in the assurance that we were answered. Do this now, and no matter how difficult your situation may be, assume your faith in Christ and get rid of all evil. 

Call upon the Lord to solve your problems, to be healed from any infirmity and to be in the divine presence. When He hears your prayer, done in the Name of Jesus, the Lord will act in your favor. The attention He gives to the Name of His Son is the same He gave to the Savior Himself when He cried out for the works of the Father to come into action. Why not act like Jesus did, if you will have the same attention from the Father that He gave to Jesus? 

To mention the Name of the Lord makes the Heavens open up, the Spirit of God to come down upon your life and also God talks about you. So then, what else do you need? Those who trust in the Most High are like mount Zion; they abide forever (Psalm 125:1). Not using this resource is like giving the devil time and permission to continue the evil work of destruction in your life and in your family. God is with those that believe! 

David said he would call upon the Lord and he would be delivered from his enemies. The same will happen to all those who put their faith in Christ. Therefore, make a list of everything the devil has done in your life and start your attack. The first thing is to cry out for the Holy Name of the Lord, and He will come into action in your favor.
