Samaria exemplifies the lost and corrupt humanity of all ages, for it only sought pleasure and fulfillment outside the Lord. Our contemporaries live this way and don’t even realize that they follow the prince of the power of the air. The biggest mistake of those who separated themselves from the house of David was not to base their lives on biblical guidelines, just as many Christians do today. Even those who have a little light give themselves over to evil. Poor lives!

The prophet Isaiah spoke this of the people of his day: From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is no soundness in it, but wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; they have not been closed or bound up, or soothed with ointment (Isaiah 1.6). This has been happening today. How can they make righteous laws without the fear of God? We need to draw closer to the Lord. Unfortunately, most people only want to get rich and enjoy the pleasures of the flesh. Mercy!

The perversion of the Israelites of the Northern Kingdom was seen in all things. They exchanged the Lord of holiness and righteousness for Baal, the lord of promiscuity. Soon, they began to accept all kinds of sin, because all that mattered was “living the life” above everything else. Now, this should never happen to the heirs of the promise. The saved are the true heirs of what God has revealed in the Scriptures. Therefore, we must take possession of them, obeying the Most High always.

Jesus said: “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. (Matthew 5.13). The Lord will ask of us much more than the lost, because we have divine knowledge. Those enlightened by the Word cannot stoop to the level of those who live in darkness. As the light of the world, we are examples of the Father’s ability to regenerate the corrupted.

God declares that He will heal the perversion of those who are sunk in the mire of slime, in the midst of corruption. So, it doesn’t matter how people live; if we act according to the Bible, we will have more to give to the lost. The way we listen makes all the difference: Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him (Luke 8.18). Believe and live the Word!

Saved people will agree that the Lord loves us and the world freely. It is only by opening the Holy Book that we can see the way out of all problems (John 3.16; 5.24). Those who believe in the promises of God make a difference in the midst of the lost generation. There is nothing better than to believe the Word and act on it. We are loved by the One who is Lord over all things. Surrender to Him and see how blessed you will be. God is faithful!

Rejoice! Divine wrath is not upon mankind. We can believe this and preach to people that God truly loves them and is fulfilling His promises. Just raise your voice and affirm what He has said. Then you will see the sick being healed, the lost, saved, and the peace of the Lord flooding desperate hearts. He wants to use you. In Jesus’ Name, start now!
