07/10/2018 - THE FAME OF GOD’S THINGS

Then news of these things came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch. Acts 11: 22

Until some brethren of Cyprus and Cyrene ventured to speak to the Greeks, Jesus’ disciples only announced salvation to the Jews, though they had heard the Master command that the Gospel be preached in the whole world and to every creature. Only the Israelites had the privilege to hear about the Son of God. Thus, the gentiles – people not belonging to the house of Israel – lived far from the Lord’s plan. Maybe we are acting in a similar way.

Whoever went to the Gentiles fulfilled the Go (Mark 16: 15-20), because soon the hand of God was seen to operate signs equal to those accomplished during the ministry of Christ. In this way, people of Greek origin sought to know Jesus. This secret will make the world fall in love with the message of the cross, if we have the power of the Most High confirming it. With anointing, we will bring to the lost the redemption and freedom that belong to the Kingdom of Heaven.

In the preaching of the Good News, the important thing is conversion. If unbelievers do not change their lives, our work will be useless. The Gospel is the power of God for the salvation of every creature. Now, only the complete Gospel, with healing the sick and deliverance to the oppressed, will lead the rebels to the Father.

Human plans are irrelevant in the Master’s field. Divine grace is the focus. With it, the number of redeemed will grow, the preachers will edify the people, and the signs will lead thousands of followers of the devil to repentance. When the mission is directed by the Almighty those who do not know the Church  dream about it. With Jesus in the lead, the most beautiful works are performed.

Where God is present, everyone rejoices, and, every day, sinners are brought, they convert and join the other saved, forming the beautiful family of faith. The church in Jerusalem rejoiced at the news received and sent Barnabas to accompany that operation from the High. And when he arrived there, he rejoiced with everything he saw and exhorted them all to abide in the Lord with a steadfast heart.

Good people set aside the satisfaction of their interests, because they gladly do the will of the Most High. For them, as John the Baptist already said, the fundamental thing is for Him to increase and they decrease (John 3: 30). With this kind of servants, the Lord’s work will grow day by day, and the redeemed will develop in the knowledge of God and His power. The work that the Almighty is about to do all over the earth needs servants who love Him. The world will be shaken!

The saved should disclose such wonderful achievements. They need to be good and filled with the Holy Spirit. The Lord will shake many nations that are closed to the Gospel. The workers sent will lead thousands to redemption. God’s moment to do His magnificent work is coming. Halleluiah!

In Christ with love,

God of power and grace! From the beginning, Your followers have asked You what to do for Your Kingdom. Then You called some of Cyprus and Cyrene, who soon entered Antioch and spoke to the Greeks, announcing salvation.

We need servants called by You, prepared by Your Spirit, to speak of Your love to the inhabitants of the most diverse regions of the Earth. Thank You for leading Your work, leading the lost to know You.

At this very moment, how many millions of people would be sent to the lake of fire and brimstone, if Judgment Day was today? They are Your inheritance that we must generate spiritually. Thus, Father, send harvesters to fulfill Jesus’ command that tells us to Go. Amen!
