26/09/2018 - THE FRUIT OF YOUR MOUTH

A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompense of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him. Proverbs 12:14

God gives us the spiritual bread, His Word, in order to strengthen our spirit and enable us to speak correctly, boldly and productively.  If we refuse the nutrition that is able to give us the necessary strength, we will feed on that which will weaken us. Alas, all that is born of man has no power to encounter evil, and that which comes from the adversary upsets those that swallow it.  Each day, the Lord gives us the right bread so that we do not stumble.

The Israelites tired of the manna that was given each day to encounter the problems in the desert, while on their way to the Land of Promise.  The Lord would prepare it with all the nutritious elements so that they would not get ill during their journey through that inhospitable territory.  However they did not understand and were desirous of the garlic and onion from Egypt, calling the bread of angels as not good (Numbers 21:5). Alas, they who disdain the Word of God will perish.

The manna would keep the Israelites healthy.  They had but only to collect the portion prepared to supply their nutritional needs for that day, with vitamins, proteins, mineral salts, etc.  This would keep them from falling ill or growing weak for the journey that was in store for them. Those who do not seek their daily bread do not enjoy the power that overcomes and defeats the devil. 

Likewise, if we collect daily the revelations from the Word and pray to the Lord in a wise manner, we will encounter the adversary with authority and power and come out victorious in battle against the kingdom of evil and the flesh, which the Bible warns struggles against the Spirit (Galatians 5:17).  However, many look down on the value of the Scriptures and are consequently always in difficulties and troubles.  Feed yourself on the true and potent Bread. 

Well-nourished with the Truth, we will be in condition to speak what is necessary to please the heavenly Father and be delivered from troubles and problems that occur during our journey.  If we do not rid ourselves from them we will say that which will bind us to the enemy and give him strength. We must talk and speak according to God’s oracles.  Therefore, don’t let a day go by without refueling with the bread given by the Lord.

By saying what is right, we will never be in the hands of the oppressing spirits.  However, if we do not obey the Word of God, we will face adversities. It is needless to say how to proceed from now on.  If you want to be delivered free and successful assume now what the Almighty says regarding you, respect Him and obey every one of His orders.

So that your hands produce that which is good, follow the instructions of the Lord, for they come to direct and guide your way of living.  Allow divine wisdom to flood your heart and you will then eat from the fruit of your mouth and your hands will do that which is good.  God has much more to give us in every sense and way, as long as we honor Him!
