08/01/2019 - THE GLORY AND EXCELLENCY OF OUR GOD

It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, The excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, The excellency of our God. Isaiah 35:2

After Jesus’ mission on Earth, there was a regeneration of our fate and we can live free from the actions of the evil one.  The spiritual desert which our planet had become was dismantled.  The dry places are with joy and the desert is blooming like the rose.  Today nothing justifies failure.  If someone is in Christ, they can and must be the difference.

When a Christian goes somewhere and pronounces the Word (Mark 16:15), the life of God flourishes abundantly and exults with joy.  The grace of Christ is over all of us, waiting for us to spread the Good-News in the power and anointment of the Holy Spirit, to make each individual whether good or evil, a witness of Jesus.  To avoid preaching the Gospel or fail to help those that do preach is to collaborate with the devil.

These days, the Church of Jesus has more glory than Lebanon in the biblical times, with their fertile soils and lush landscapes. Wherever the Church is present, the power of the Spirit of God comes into action, healing people of any disease, delivering the oppressed from the works of witchcraft and undoing all sorts of works of the devil.  The Church has the power to connect or unbind what is necessary on Earth for this will be so in Heaven (Matthew 18:18).

The glory of Lebanon cannot be compared to that which we have, or with the splendor of mount Carmel, where Elijah defied the 450 prophets of Baal and those that were from Asherah, the idol post (1 Kings 18:19).  There the people shouted “Only the Lord is God!”  Besides, Sharon, the land that produced the most fragrant and beautiful roses does not equal itself to how God acts in our midst. All this is a testimony of the excellency that the Bride of Christ has.

The glory that humankind sees and will see where the Church of the Lord is sent to offer the world the testimony of the Son of God will be true and noble.  One does not perceive the good that they receive from the Most High as they are used in working the wonders operated by Christ.  The Almighty reserved the best wine – the best glory – to exhibit through His Church.

We lose much by not seeking and not giving the needy and lost the excellency of our God.  Elijah was wonderful in the hands of the Lord on Mount Carmel.  The people saw when the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench (1 Kings 18:38).  All who were present and witnessed  this event were marveled and grateful to God.

We must do more, because we have the power to set the captives free.  We must offer them the true testimony of the Gospel, healing the blind, the deaf, the leprous, and give them salvation and baptism in the Holy Spirit.  This pleases God!

In Christ, with Love,

Lord! We thank You for the perfect work of Your Son on Calvary.  Jesus dismantled the desert that the Earth had become, when Your Word was scarce. Now the dry places are rejoicing, and the desert exalted and flourishing like the rose.

The reflourishing of humanity is abundant.  It happens when healing is delivered in the form of words, forgiveness is shown by work of Your grace and happiness is presented by the faith received as we believe in the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus.  That is why there is joy among the saved.  You are good!

Nothing is comparable to the tears of gratitude from those who are visited by You and reach salvation and other blessings.  Your glory has been revealed among us.  Your acts are wonderful and demonstrate proof of Your character!
