07/01/2018 - THE LACK OF PERCEPTION BRINGS MUCH LOSS

And did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Matthew 24:39

Jesus’ return will confuse many people, as it happened in the days before the flood. At that time, people did not listen to Noah and thought that the earth would last forever. However, there will be a day in which all that is material on earth and space will be destroyed by fire, and then, new heavens and a new earth will come. The guarantee that this will happen is a hundred percent, because Jesus announced it. Even though all may pass, the words of the Master will never pass away (Matthew 24:35). Do you believe?

In the days that Noah warned people of the coming destruction, his words sounded like madness to all who listened to him. They thought a sentence like that to be impossible. The patriarch’s ministry lasted 120 years, and as incredible as it sounds, he did not manage to save anyone. However, he was not discouraged by the lack of belief from those people. This is how the saved should behave, because we serve the Lord. Halleluiah!

To eat, drink, and get married (v. 38) is something normal all around the world. Yet, to fear God is a great challenge for mankind. Even in countries where people are respectful and highly regard others, when it comes to respecting the Word of God, they do not care. Those who are preparing themselves for Jesus’ return and watch out so that they are not surprised demonstrate that they fear Him. Teaching people to fear the Lord is something fundamental.

Nowadays, it seems like mankind is drunk with scientific discoveries. They have nothing special, because both them and their rules have been created by the Lord. However, the devil uses many people’s weaknesses to insinuate that God doesn’t deserve credit. Thus, many have taken the wrong path. Poor lives! They do not know how much they will suffer for having believed in the liar and despised the True One. 

Besides, those who are careless about the work of God will have the same fate. It is the mission of every saved person to talk about the love that reached them, the power of the purifying blood of Jesus, and of the authority of the Name of the Lord. He enables us to set free the oppressed and all who suffer. Those who do not rise with Jesus will find out that their loss was similar to the foolish virgins, who carelessly lost the opportunity to enter in the eternal feast (Matthew 25:1-13).

The separation that will happen between people is greater than what we can imagine: “I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left”(Luke 17:34-36). Pay attention that the number is 50%. Which of these people will you be? Watch and pray. Amen?

Those who do not notice God moving at church and through His promises, will not believe that they will be blessed when He is operating wonders. Once you understand what God wants to do for you, remain steadfast, because then you will participate in His glory. The lack of perception about what He is doing brings much loss. Be watchful and take part in the blessing. What will you do?
