30/01/2021 - THE LAND IS FULL OF ADULTERERS

For the land is full of adulterers; For because of a curse the land mourns. The pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up. Their course of life is evil, And their might is not right. Jeremiah 23:10

Marital infidelity is a curse that destroys innocent lives, paralyzes the operation of good in our midst and causes us all kinds of evils. Those who surrender to this error and don’t repent, will certainly suffer eternal punishment. God made us in such a wonderful way, male and female, each with special and well-defined characteristics, so that the family would be a complete success for His honor and glory. 

Man is God´s perfect creation, having been endowed with the ability to think and act that comes close to that of the Lord. The Most High is responsible for the lives He created, from simple organisms to the most complex ones. However, with Adam´s fall, the devil entered the world and distraught the divine plan. To get rid of the devilish actions, you must live according to the Word. Thus, you will keep the evil one away.

With adultery comes the prostitution of habits and customs, and so, the kingdom of darkness takes over amongst us. The greatest adultery is carried out by those who don’t love God – we must have and keep the commandments. Whoever does not live his life according to Scriptures, actually seeks darkness directly or through the offerings that come before them. The solution is to pray in the name of the only Intermediary: Jesus!

The act of trying to speak to the Lord and ask for the intervention of saints and even Jesus’s mother, something without any biblical support, allows the devil to possess the people who indulge in these practices. Throughout the Bible, there is no mention that dead saints can intercede for someone. Only the living can cry out to God in the Name of Jesus. The dead know nothing (Ecclesiastes 9:5). 

Even with Adam’s fall, God would make the dried-up wilderness produce food. But because of the abominable acts of many, they dry up. Humanity is destroyed because it does not read the Bible or follow its teachings. The Scriptures contain the rules that make our life on Earth a blessing. But we don’t seek knowledge in the Holy Book, thus, we are destroyed (Hosea 4:6). Turn back to the Lord and live!

If we restore our walk in this life, we will be rewarded with many good things and will even find food in the desert. One can say that this is impossible, but see where Israel found the manna during the 40 years of pilgrimage in the deserted lands. Those who listen to the Most High will realize that they have everything they need to live decently, even in the midst of chaos.

When man’s strength is upright, because he lives on every word that proceeds from God´s mouth (Matthew 4:4), he will have the necessary escape to get out of any wicked situation. Surrender your way to the Lord and good things will begin to happen to you (Psalm 37:5).
