There is no wicked operation that prevails over those who serve God, believe and obey Him. However, we always think we know what to do, but we fail to pay attention to the only One who loves us, wants our well being and knows all things. Then, when we lose a battle, we go desperate and ask the Almighty why such thing happened. Now, if we were walking with Him, we would never be defeated.
For 40 days, the Philistines humiliated Israel (1 Samuel 17:16). The problem was that among those Israelites, not one of them was ready. However, the Lord lifted up a young man, David, to face the enemies. Likewise, if you do not prepare yourself or make a firm decision to put the devil in his place, he will continue to oppress you. This will only change when you obey the Word of God: Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James 4:7).
To defeat any evil work that has come against your life or that of your loved ones, you don’t need to act like men do, but simply obey the divine order. The commandments of the Lord contain a wonderful power beyond human understanding, which will only be revealed to you the moment you put your faith into action. The Christian’s duty is to resist the devil!
By accepting Jesus, you have come to a point where you cannot think of going back. Although the threat is increasing and apparently there is no way out, turning back is out of the question. Causing you to retreat is one of the tactics the devil uses to steal your blessing. If you fall into this trap, the Most High will have no more pleasure in you (Hebrew 10:38). Wake up! God lifted you up to be a winner. So fight by faith!
The instruments of the Most High made available to you are the most effective to give you victory; so make use of them. Those who are carried away by the lies of the enemy and don’t cast him out of their lives will be to blame. Today its one temptation; tomorrow it will be another one, if it is not uprooted. When you realize it, you will be caught in the clutches of evil. So, even if you pray a lot, nothing will work if you do not repent.
David’s victory is an example that someone new had to go to the battle front, for those who were there were already defeated. That someone is you! Even if you are sunk in sins, you can be born again now. Draw near to God, confess Him your sins, and start over again by faith. The faith that dwelt in David was responsible for the victory achieved by his people. Your faith has this power!
When you recognize that you are a sinner, God gives you what you need to defeat the enemy. Even nature helps you to succeed. Now is your time to cry out and be blessed. Make the right decision: seek the Lord to get rid of all evil. No doubt He will use you again.
In Christ, with love,

Father! We want to give You the control of our life and go only where You want us to go. We do not want to use the weapons of men, but make use of Your tactics. Surely You have prepared us to lay hands on them and prevail in battle.
In the heavenly records, it will be written that one day a person believed in You and won the battle for them and their people, using a stone that Your strategy placed in their hands. May this also be written about us!
The devil could never imagine that a simple young man would unmask his false assuredness. Your Name has given victory to David and will give to each one of us. You prepared us for victory. We are grateful for that! Amen!!
