Like every father, the Most High also had the pleasure of presenting His Son 700 years before He was born in Bethlehem of Judah. This presentation did not happen as the people of the world do, with luxurious parties, orchestra and fanfare. God does things in a simple way, with wisdom, and with the purpose of changing people, removing them from the kingdom of evil.
The Lord called the Savior His Servant. Jesus’ mission here was to serve the Father, giving mankind the opportunity not to get lost and be born again. He did not come to be served, but to accomplish our salvation. His days on Earth were of hard work, so that man would understand the work that was being done for the benefit of all. Christ was a servant until the last moment, when he drank the cup.
God upheld Him, supported Him in the mission and guaranteed His work. He wishes to do the same for all those called to preach the sweet Message in any place. Even if it is in a difficult place, do not be afraid to go or obey what you were commanded, because the Almighty will uphold you and protect you. The journey with the Son of God is more beautiful than we can think.
Jesus was God’s Elect, for He was the only One who had all the qualifications to do what pleased the Father. Likewise, He chose us to go to the ends of the Earth, ensuring that we would have the conditions to carry out His will. There never was a moment when He failed to do fulfill His mission. As for us, we always have to do what He commands us to do.
The Most High declared that His soul delighted in Jesus. We must strive for this to be said about us. No doubt, we have the same authority as the Savior to execute divine purpose. But if we yield to sin and do not watch, we will shame the Lord’s beautiful name. Be ready and determined to submit to God. That nothing may be said against you!
When the Father placed His Spirit upon Jesus, He gave Him the prerogatives to fulfill His plans. Next, in the synagogue at Nazareth, He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me (Luke 4:7,18). Then the Lord said that on that day this Scripture was fulfilled before those who were hearing it. From that moment on, Jesus began doing God´s work like the Father had planned. When will this happen to you?
Christ´s mission was to bring about judgment among the gentiles. Until then, they were the lost and therefore could not go to Heaven nor be answered in their prayers. Judgment gave all of us, who are not Jews according to the flesh, authority to speak in the Name of Jesus and see the power of God cast out demons, heal diseases, and free the captives from the kingdom of evil.
In Christ, with love,

Wonderful Father! We thank You for sending your Servant, whom you upheld and still sustains with Your power. He is Your Elect to take us from the regions of death and transport us into Your Kingdom. What a beautiful plan!
Now we understand that we are also the delight of Your soul. By saying yes to the Savior's orders, who completely fulfilled Your will, we are blessed. We must teach the Truth to the lost.
With Your Spirit upon us, we must act according to the Lord. The impossible before our eyes - our submission to You - is now a reality. We want to make judgment prevail among those who do not know You yet. Amen!
