25/08/2019 - THE LOSS FOR NOT OBEYING

Therefore I also said, ‘I will not drive them out before you; but they shall be thorns in your side, and their gods shall be a snare to you.’ Judges 2:3

The Creator reveals in Scriptures that He is omniscient God, who knows everything in the smallest detail and therefore can do everything. However, He cannot help those who disobey Him. He will not surpass His own nature to help one who is said of Him, but yields to Satan. We must be holy, because God is holy (Leviticus 20:7).

The history of the Israelites is full of sad incidents, when it should have been only of beautiful and blessed things. Because they despised the Most High, they went through many tribulations that had not been planned for them. The same is true of those who do not heed the Word of God and thus act wrong. It is impossible for the Lord to justify the wicked!

The trajectory of the saved has been difficult in many times, because they refuse to submit to the Most High. In the making of Israel, we have also not taken our fellowship with God seriously. Thus, the devil manages to enter our lives and do his works. Whoever does not bow before the holy divine will bows before the enemy.

The inhabitants of Canaan should have been completely eradicated from the presence of the Most High; but the Israelites did not drive them out, because they were afraid of their gods. So, the Lord could not expel them from the midst of His people. The result: the Israelites paid a very high price for their negligence. Beware of the sin of disobedience, for that was the error of Jacob´s sons. Any transgression we commit is an affront to the heavenly Father!

In our days, we see worldliness entering the church, where it should never be. The worst thing is to see filthy things being exalted from the pulpits, when the Word of God should occupy them. Then the families of the saved are corrupted and destroyed. Lust and other sentimental and sexual errors have been welcomed on many altars. Examine yourself every day! Do you practice what is good in the eyes of God?

Paul wrote: Do not be deceived: Neither fornicators … will inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Cor. 6:9,10). However, couples indulge in filthy and wicked practices, and it destroys them. Whoever gives himself to them will inevitably lose himself in incontinence, which weakens the holy living (Hosea 4:11). The Lord has said and repeated that whoever indulges in debauchery will not enter His Home.

The demons behind these aberrations became masters of many brethren, who, with an expression of innocence, claim that they see no reason for such things to be forbidden. Paul said, “But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.” (1 Corinthians. 6:11). Therefore don´t do what the wicked do, for their attitude is of Moab.
