People are responsible for what happens to them, both good and bad things. The problem with many Christians is that they don´t pay attention to the Word. Several of them, after breaking free from the scourges, do not realize that they need to know the Bible to remain under the blessings that will make them live happy. The secret is to examine the Scriptures!

The wide door has drawn people to the kingdom of darkness. Evil spirits behave as masters of ceremonies, deceiving the weak of heart, leading them to prefer the things of the flesh, the ease way to obtain resources, and the fantasy of living without divine interference. These poor lives don´t realize that all this is an illusion and that one day they will have to come before the throne of eternal Judgment.

Everybody can have the good and best things, without getting involved with the devil or submitting to temptations. No servant of God of the past lived in want, starved or failed to have divine assistance against their enemies. Now, what the Lord did in those days was a symbol of what He wants to accomplish today with those who listen to His teachings. The Lord is a Father tothose who are sons and daughters!

See the patriarchs’ examples. They made a covenant with the Most High and did not let themselves be carried away by the devil’s talk. As they decided to walk next to God, they broke away from the satanic ties that came over mankind the day Adam and Eve sinned. Even without the Gospel at that time, those men joined the Lord and therefore were kept and guided by Him. God is always our strength!

Jabez was an example of someone successful. His mother bore him in pain (1 Chronicles 4: 9). So he was all set to be a “poor guy”. However, despite the debilitating physical conditions, Jabez understood that it is possible to change his fate and be completely blessed. So he prayed to God, saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” (1 Chronicles 4:10). And the Lord made him prosper.

With the story of this young man, we understand that if we seek God and make an alliance with Him, we will change life. Whoever surrenders to the devil will be ashamed. Why reject the Lord and offend Him, if He only wants to do good and teach you not to touch what is evil? Whoever hears the Most High and keeps His instructions will be blessed!

Adjust yourself to the divine plan and see how smooth it is to live it. Stop doing your own will and follow the Father´s guidance. Nothing will lack to those who decide to love the blessing and reject the curse. Why not straighten yourself from this moment and stop suffering the devil´s hatred?
