02/05/2018 - THE REASON WHY THE ENEMY IS SUBJECT TO US

Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD, The shield of your help And the sword of your majesty! Your enemies shall submit to you, And you shall tread down their high places. Deuteronomy 33:29

In the past, in spite of such a strong and true declaration as this, Israel did not fully understand who they were and what could they do in the Lord. Today, the Church of Jesus faces the same battle. She was redeemed by the blood of Christ to represent God on Earth, but allows herself to be drawn by temptations of riches and secular power. This way, she loses the important role of cooperator to the Most High. What a tragedy!

The Church of Christ is you and me, who were born again. We are a blessed people in every sense, for we have the Spirit of God here today just like Jesus had in His days. We have the tools He used; therefore we can do the works that He did (John 14:12) However, we have done nothing similar. We have been doing wrong, because we have not given glory to the Lord as we should.

God declared that nobody is like us, who are saved by Him. Certainly we should remember this in times of tribulation. The Lord guarantees to be our Refuge and our Strong Tower, ever present to help us during the moments we are attacked by the enemy (Psalm 46:1) Therefore our destiny is to be victorious and throughout eternity. Rise in the Name of Jesus and pray the prayer that God hears and answers: one of faith.

We have the rescue that solves our problems for He is our Shield ( 2 Sanuel 22:3). There are many lame, blind, deaf, lost and suffering who need to be delivered. The leaders of other religions can’t do anything, but the least among us can and must be instruments of the Lord, in order to fulfill His will. That we may be faithful to what He has constituted in us!

What a declaration! The All-Powerful is the Sword of our majesty. Yes, we have the  power to execute the same works as the Redeemer, combating false doctrine and the counsels against the knowledge of the Truth. We take captive to the obedience of Christ all understandings for the weapons of our militia are not of the flesh (2 Corinthians 10:4,5) He is the Sword that we must use to subdue the forces of evil which hold many captive to unbelief.

There is no way that the devil can overcome us. God has already decreed that our enemies will be subjected and subdued by us. Believe! You will not be defeated, for the Lord fights in your favor. Although you are being tried by your inability or lack of experience in refusing a temptation, do not make void the heavenly Father’s declaration with respect to you!

The Omnipotent has equipped us to step on the highest schemes and works of the prince of darkness. So we have to be in communion with God. So says the Lord: Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you ( Luke 10:19 ).
