For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Hebrews 4.10

The works that the Lord has given us to do are of great importance for the fulfillment of our Christian ministry. They are the same as what Jesus received to accomplish in His days on earth. Such an undertaking must be done with determination and faith, without ever going backwards, no matter where, when or the costs of it. We must stand firm and go to the end, as God teaches (Dan. 12:13).

We must strive to fulfill the Lord’s guidelines, knowing that they will guarantee us endless rewards. That fact alone would be good for us to say yes to God. Failing to obey Him has never been a good thing. Sooner or later, we will be called to account for what we have done or failed to do. The obedient will be rewarded by the Savior himself.

Jesus directed us to carry out our call, even though we said no at the beginning. Our repentance will be accepted. But will there be forgiveness for those who said yes and then did not honor his word? We have to work while it is day, because the night comes, during which no one can work. Postponing it may be too late. Now, it’s time to get down to business.

Christ told the Father that he had completed His mission (John 19:30). Now, can we ever say the same thing? It would be good for us to do an examination of our actions in relation to the Father’s orders, so as not to have prejudice on the Day of reckoning. Great victories only come after great battles. Never forget you will win, because God will go ahead of you!

In the case of the blind man born, found in John 9, the Savior taught that those eyes were like that so that God’s work could be done in them, while there was time. That said, the Master spat on the ground and made some mud with His saliva and put it on that man’s eyes, ordering him to go and wash in the tank of Siloam. Then, after doing so, he saw everything distinctly well. This is what God wants His children to do. Learning from Him; we will succeed!

To free a demon-possessed man, Jesus, when crossing the Sea of Galilee, faced a strong storm, as if the devil tried to prevent Him from freeing that sufferer. However, Christ did what he proposed (Mt 8.23-32). Do not accept the threats of the king of evil. By following the Lord’s instructions, you will never go wrong or be prevented from doing what He designed!

Upon returning to Heaven with the mission completed, Jesus entered in His rest. We must not save resources, time or anointing to complete our task as well. Then, one day, we will be in our rest too. Whoever does not do this will be disappointed with their fate on the Last Day.

In Christ with love,

God of our rest! Why do we postpone the preaching of the Gospel, healing the sick, freeing the oppressed and leading the lost to make the wise decision to convert, if that is our obligation? Yeah! You will use us!

Those who are fearful complain about everything, they see lions where they don't exist, they smell the devil and then they run away, but whoever trusts in You will never give up obeying You. It's good to be faithful in everything!

We reject the thought of giving up or failing to fulfill Your purpose. Our desire is to be under Your command, acting in the Name of Jesus and seeing the people being freed from sin and loving You. We are grateful, Father!
