Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of His people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad. Psalm 53:6

King David sighed because of the revelation that he received. It was about a time in which the people of God would be freed from their misfortunes and receive power over the devil. If the servants of God believed in the Word, they would enjoy all the divine promises. This season of “good things” took around a thousand years to come,  after the king expressed the desire of all humanity. Then, freedom dawned to us.

Sadly, however, unbelievers transformed the Gospel into a set of mere human rules. Thus, instead of enjoying the freedom that Christ conquered for us, we live in oppression and fear, forgetting that as we believe in Him, accepting Him as Savior, we move from death to live (1 John 3:14). We must wake to the fact that the work that set us free from the kingdom of darkness has already happened.

This is one of the main reasons why we must preach the Gospel, sharing with the world the greatest information that someone could receive: we do not need to suffer any longer. If we obey the Scriptures, we will leave death behind – Satan’s nature. Now, once freed from all fear, we will enjoy an abundant life (John 10:10). The Gospel is the perfect law of freedom (James 1:25).

Salvation has been given to us, and the captives are being brought back to the land where the devil cannot reign or operate. Do not be deceived with his lies; after all, God has given you all you need in order to be victorious and undo the wiles of the accuser in your life. We are free from sin, sicknesses and any kind of oppression. By Jesus’ wounds, we are healed. Halleluiah! 

If you are captive of any temptation and live under the command of the tempter, getting dirty in the works of darkness, declare your deliverance, because the enemy has been defeated. You must reign like a free person. We have been called to live at the highest level and show that it is worth serving the Lord.

The time came for Jacob to rejoice. Even though Laban insisted in changing Jacob’s salary many times, he knew that God would honor His Word. Therefore, you should not bow before the authority or deception of Satan. On the contrary, be firm in what the Most High has said, rejoice, and as Jesus said, everything that you determine in His Name will be done in our favor (John 14.14). Live your freedom!

Israel, the servant who fought with God as a prince and prevailed, should rejoice, because his day has come. There is no way how the devil can hinder the fulfillment of the Biblical promises. Today is your time to live, determine what you learned from the Scriptures and enjoy the Most High’s goodness. You and the Lord are an unbeatable team! Amen?
