It is important to pay attention to the revelations of this verse. You see, science attests that in the Milky Way, the galaxy where the Earth is inserted, there are about one hundred billion stars. So, we have wasted power, for everything in the material or spiritual world was created by the Spirit of the divine mouth, His blessed Word. This teaches us that we have an Almighty Father, capable of accomplishing anything. Yet, we have enjoyed little of our God!
Whenever you read the Bible and a verse catches your attention – stay alert, because this statement from the Lord can solve your problems. Just receive it, use it, and it will work in your favor. God’s declaration comes with power to do what He says. This way, those who believe in this truth, in addition to making God true, are blessed with what is declared to them.
John’s gospel reveals that the Word is God: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1.1). Before He became incarnate, Jesus already existed and it was He who made everything: All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made (verse 3). The Savior came to redeem us from sin and teach us how to do God’s work, so that the Father might be glorified in Him (John 14.13). Amen!
Those who learn from Jesus and believe in Him can do the same works that He did (John 14.12). The secret is to do as Christ did, despising any human guidance, because that is how He expressed Himself: For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you (John 13.15). Dedicate a good part of your precious time to learn from the Master how to work for the Most High. Surely, you will be a blessing.
Since the Lord has foreknowledge – the knowledge of what will happen to everyone, up to the last moment in this world – He has left us His “Service Manual,” the Bible. By following its teachings, we will act as He has demonstrated (2 Timothy 3.16,17). We can be successful in our actions (Psalms 1.1-3). However, we must forget the dogmas of religions, which do not serve to bring divine power to operate in our lives. Remember that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10.17)!
The guidance given to Joshua is the same guidance you need to be an overcomer: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success (Joshua 1.8). The Lord’s instructions work, so why try other man-made suggestions if they are worthless? Watch and pray!
Never be guided by advice outside the divine will, for in Heaven, where God’s throne is, from where every good gift comes, three testify in our favor: For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one (1 John 5.7). By faith we receive the blessing!
In Christ, with love,

Father, our Creator and Sustainer! Thank You for revealing to us how You made all things, both the Heavens and the Earth. You created the world and everything in it. Blessed are You for accomplishing this for our good!
We need not listen to anyone but You. The world lies in the evil one, and what men say about themselves is of no use. But Your Word endures forever and contains Your power!
Help us to give You the lordship of our lives; You alone are God, and Your praise You grant to no one. In the Name of Jesus, we ordain all the evil that tries to destroy us to go away. We are grateful that You love, honor, and save us!
