The Lord has prepared statutes for men to follow. All will go well for those who obey these ordinances. However, those who rebel for any reason, even a righteous one, and fail to do what He has commanded will be deprived of heavenly help. This occurs when one despises what would enable God to teach others (Proverbs 13.13). One cannot disregard the Lord and still count on His protection, because He will not be able to help.
Whoever strives to keep the commandments, as well as the other requirements of the Word, will see that God has created such rules for our own good (Romans 7.12). Be faithful to the Lord and you will always have blessings from High. But if you despise the Scriptures, you will block divine help. Try to present yourself approved before Him, as a worker who handles well the Holy Word (2 Timothy 2:15).
When David was about to pass the kingdom to Solomon, he prayed that his son would be given a perfect heart and be able to keep the commandments, testimonies and statutes of the Lord (1 Kings 2.3). Now, no one will be able to walk in God’s standards if he does not receive His help. Knowing this, the king asked God to give Solomon the conditions to fulfill them.
Isaac was heading south and was in Gerar. He was preparing to go down to Egypt for the same reason that his father had once gone down, because there was a famine in Canaan. However, God told him not to do that. In the past, in a similar situation, Abraham almost lost Sarah to Pharaoh, and the Lord saved him from such shame. In speaking with Isaac, God reminded him that He was intervening because Abraham had kept His statutes (Genesis. 26:2-6).
Try to know them and live by them. There is a specific set of rules for every issue in life, from prosperity to the one in which God directs men to stay away from adulterous women and women from men without good judgment, whose pleasure lies in destroying the happiness of those who are faithful to the Lord. Woe to him who intrudes into the holy and spiritual reality, where one man and one woman become one flesh! (Proverbs 6.32-35; Mark 10.8)
He who practices the commandments loves God; then he is also loved by Him and by the Son, who will dwell in him (John 14.23). Thus, this person will be super protected, because, having the Lord in her heart, the devil will not try to hinder her. God will never allow the forces of darkness to return to your life, for He will live in you!
The promises of the Almighty to His servants are complete and varied. Those who have good judgment will carry out His purpose and all that is theirs. In this way, the Most High will honor His Word to the faithful. Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful (Psalm 1.1).
In Christ, with love,

Faithful God! The secret is simple, just walk in Your statutes and keep them. But, many times, we are foolish and leave them aside, acting as sinners do!
We need Your mercy, for success comes from doing as we are told. We don't always pray to know Your will concerning the offers of unknown people, of whom we don't know the principles and whom they serve. Mercy!
Today, we place ourselves before You. First, we confess our mistakes, and second, with Your infinite help, we will begin again to do all that You tell us. Then we will be protected by You, our true Shield!
