And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were gathered there for battle, and the men of Israel had retreated. 2 Samuel 23: 9

We need to learn many things in order to be used by the Lord. Eleazar was one of the mighty men who were with David. From him it was said that with two other mighty men he provoked the Philistines in the midst of the battle. This is the kind of person God has prepared to do His work. The Lord makes us intrepid to take the Gospel where people have not yet heard enough about Jesus to be saved.

Dodo’s son had a simple attitude, but he cooperated so that the people of God won the battle against the Philistines. When the Lord gives you an order, even if it seems to be unimportant, obey. Failing to obey the divine guidance can lead you to error. Never be ignorant in the observance of His ordinances.

It was necessary for the Philistines to be provoked, for the Israelites to reach the necessary level. A testimony with anointing, a prophetic word and a smile full of divine love are a provocation to the devil; such are worth more than a thousand sermons elaborated in “theological labs.” Every act of faith does good to the Kingdom of God, even if it seems simple. Witness about Jesus!

And Eleazar arose, and smote the Philistines in such a manner that his hand became weary and stuck to the sword. What a disposition! However, the strength did not come from him, but from the High. Today, the battle is spiritual, and we must be instruments only of God. The mighty ones of Jesus will have their strength renewed, maintained and increased, in order to be used in mighty works. All the operations of the mighty men of David symbolize what the Most High will do for His people.

By consecrating yourself to the Lord, you will be able to provoke the demons, while your brothers will reach the ideal point where they will overcome Hell. You have the power to “hurt,” to defeat the envoys of darkness. Their battle symbolizes the Christian’s struggle. Therefore you were called to war the wars of the Almighty. You may grow weary of using your ability, but it will continue alongside the eternal command of God.

God will work great deliverances today when, in prayer, His people fight against evil forces and overcome them. In addition to revelation being complete with the coming of Jesus, we have been granted the anointing that worked in Jesus, which is able to use us to obtain the same victories He has achieved. We must make it manifest and be known. The Almighty wants to work mightily through those whom He calls and guides!

It is time for the people of God to return to receive their share in the victory that Christ has won over evil. The reward is sure and good, but whoever is silent and does not carry out the work will suffer eternal sorrow and shame. Exercise your rights in Jesus!
