So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. John 4:46

Wherever he went, Jesus paid attention to people. Therefore, upon learning of the possibility of approaching Him, the sick, or those who had sick at home, went to the Master to touch them. By meeting Christ, they were met. Likewise today, if we come to Jesus in faith, we will not be confused, for He is the same today, yesterday, and forever (Heb. 13: 8). Whoever believes in Him will never be disappointed.

Jesus went to Cana in Galilee under the guidance of the Father. He who allows himself to be led by the Spirit as he leaves for some place must believe that he will solve the problems there. As a servant of the Omnipotent, be prepared to minister the Word to those in need. After all, we are commanded to do the work as the Son of God did. There is no diminution of power in the Gospel!

This was the second time a good work would be done in this place. The presence of the Savior would put an end to the difficulties of the afflicted who were there for help. This is God’s will: to take His Word where the oppressed are, and with it their liberating power. Where Christ stood, divine power healed, unleashed, and wrought other wonders. Whoever believes acts like the Lord!

He who made water into the best quality wine also has the power to make water the best medicine ever made by man. But most of the time, Jesus used other methods to act. He is Lord whose power accomplishes whatever it takes. So we must not “limit” Him, for He alone knows the means that will bring us peace and a victorious outcome to our adversities.

At that time, a great opportunity soon came for Jesus to use the power received from his heavenly Father. Arriving at Cana, an officer of the king, whose son was dying in Capernaum, went to the Master and asked for help. Whoever finds the Lord is met at once. Therefore, never miss the chance to be where Christ works, which is in every church service.

Perhaps the king’s officer was in Cana at work, or perhaps God had moved him there because the Master would pass through the city. The reason for his stay there did not matter, but what Jesus did for his son. Likewise, wherever you are, when you hear of a power meeting, go with faith. No doubt, if the Lord has sent any of His own to be there, He will answer the prayers to Him!

The distance from this officer to his son might not be that great today, but it would take a few hours or days for those traveling on foot or on the back of an animal. But the son’s problem was greater than his ability to be healed by man. No matter the problem, but the faith used to pray, ask, and believe the answer. God will never fire you empty handed.

In Christ, with love,

God! You have the power to work in us what we need. Therefore, before You, we plead for Your help and thank You for Your wonderful work done for us. We are sure of the answer!

In Cana of Galilee, Thy Son proved delighted in ending our ills. We arrive with confidence that we will be met. Your skills remain the same, for nothing in you has diminished!

Wherever you go, you will find people with all kinds of ills. However, with your authority, everyone can be set free if they believe in Your Word. You are wonderful and good! Amen!
