Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. Mark 2.3

In Jesus’ day on Earth, the people around Him had their needs met because He taught the Word of God. This is the greatest blessing to be given to those who suffer from an incurable disease, a character problem, or are oppressed because of some sin. The Scriptures declare: Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow,

So a curse without cause shall not alight (Proverbs 26: 2). Stay alert and pray!

The Master was so wise in His teachings, that some listeners went in search of a paralytic and convinced him to go to Jesus to be delivered from evil. Such a man heard about the Savior and believed that, on that day, the Lord would heal him. When we learn from God how to proceed and act, our healing will come quickly.

When we are in a service, or reading the Bible, we must pay attention to what we will learn. At that moment, God will speak, and every word that comes out of His mouth has the power to do what it declares (Isaiah 55:11). Then, having heard the Lord, take hold of His statements, as if they had come true. In doing so, divine power will operate according to the revelation received.

The faith of that group of people encouraged four men to go to the paralytic’s house in order to tell him exactly what they learned from the Master, and the sick man believed. The greatest work had already taken place in his heart, for he remembered his mistakes and giving way to the devil, allowing him to be paralyzed. This is evident from what Jesus said when they came face to face (Mark 2:5)!

We are judged every time someone speaks to us about the Word. So, what comes next is the outcome of our decision after the guidance of the Spirit of God. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to what will be revealed to us during biblical reading or preaching. If we believe, the work will be done the moment we say yes within us. They led the paralytic and saw that the house was packed.

Problems will always happen in our journey of faith, and the enemy will do anything to try to get us out of the purpose of reaching Jesus. However, those who believe will never be carried away by difficulties. One must believe that He who started the good work in us will complete it in the best way (Philippians 1:6). So stay tuned to the Son of God to feel His direction.

When Jesus got into the boat with the disciples, in order to go to the land of the Gadarenes, He wanted free a man who lived among tombs, naked and violent, and no one would dare go by that path. Suddenly, during that trip, a storm came. The disciples woke up the Master and asked Him for help. Jesus rebuked the winds and the sea, and everything was quiet. And he said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” (Mark 4:40). You must have faith!

In Christ, with love,

Lord, our perfect Master! We are imperfect, but called to perfection. You called us to follow You and gave us the new birth. With Him, we have all things. Now, being Your righteousness in Christ, we cry out for help!

The disciples did not need to awaken the Savior, but they acted with the faith they had, rebuking the wind as Your Son had previously done. However, they let timidness dominate their hearts and, thus, began to sink.

We do not know how to act, or we have not believed that we must do Your work with our faith. At this moment, we give You thanks for giving it to us and order all evil: go out, in the Name of Jesus, and never come back!
