20/08/2018 - THE WORKS OF THE STAFF OF PUNISHMENT

And in every place where the staff of punishment passes, Which the Lord lays on him, It will be with tambourines and harps; And in battles of brandishing He will fight with it. Isaiah30:32

The Lord shows Himself as a Judge that judges with justice the causes that come to Him and every time the staff of punishment is passed there are complete celebrations in the Heavens. This is like an invitation for us to place our petitions at His altar.  As He speaks concerning celebration, He speaks of what pleases Him.  God requires that we serve Him with joy and song, not with a saddened face or bad disposition.  One who desires to please the Almighty must do so with faith.

Have we given Him the opportunity to intercede in our favor solving our problems?  Do we walk according to His Word and cry for His workings according to the Scriptures?  In the majority of cases I think we don’t.  Undoubtedly we should always be concerned with what we think, say and do. After all, He knows everything before the words leave our lips.  Halleluiah!

Looking closely to the Bible, we see that the Lord honors those who honor Him (1 Samuel 2:30) and we understand it is possible to have all from Him, when He can have all from us.  We listen to the Word, but it seems we do not believe it, because usually we don’t even take the trouble to seek God’s intercession against evil. The enemies of Israel represent our adversaries these days, and just as the Most High went against those, He works against those that invest against us.

Like a true Judge, the Lord will never fall short from honoring His Word, but will fulfill it faithfully. Therefore, He must always be sought in first place (Matthew 6:33).  If we do this with faith, we need not seek any other in any other place or way.  Make God to be your Lord, and don’t allow the evil to oppress you or keep you from your progress.   The promise says that no one will stand before him who believes and acts in the Name of the Lord (Joshua 1:5).

The Most High declares he will do battle against the forces of evil with shaking combats.  Of course, the work is not done like magic but with battle.  When Jesus sent the 70 disciples, two by two, where He would do ministry, they returned rejoicing, for even the demons obeyed them.  Consequently Christ said he saw Satan falling from Heaven like a bolt of lightning (Luke 10:17,18).  He wants to see this again!

The staff of punishment of the Lord must be used, and for this reason we must be firm in what He shows in the Word.  When necessary, we must pray with authority and conviction.  God has already passed his staff on all His promises.  Then when we rebuke evil and cry out in order that those things that are not come to be, His staff will perform again.  What a wonderful God!

The Lord wants us to be the cause of the celebrations that happen in Heaven, when He will rejoice in performing what has been revealed to us.  Be consistent and constant in fulfilling your duties as servant, preaching the Gospel, the Good News of the Kingdom of God, casting out demons and laying on hands for the healing of the people. This is cause for a celebration!

In Christ, with Love,

Lord! We want to see You using Your staff against the works of the evil one, that was used to destroy us, leading us to practice the most hateful sins and to suffer terrible illnesses!  Deliver us!

Right now, we will use Your authority given to us and we will demand that the enemy be the aim of Your staff.  We will not allow oppression by the evil one in our lives.  Therefore we cry out now for Your works!

We are aiming for celebrations with Your musical instruments, when the angels will rejoice with the victory of good over evil.  Use us to have Your staff perform everywhere it is necessary.  You are a Man of War; combat the evil that comes against us.  Amen!
