11/03/2019 - THOSE WHO NEVER RAISE UP

 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. Luke 13.11

The deliverance carried out by Jesus in one of the synagogues of Israel, when He healed a woman who had a spirit of infirmity, shows that if Satan possesses a person, human effort can do nothing for that person. The solution to our problems will come only from the Word of God. We need to learn this, or our ministry will remain barren, which in no way resembles serving God.

The Gospel message preached by the Master is the way out of misfortunes, but unfortunately, we do not live it as we should. Therefore, we feel helpless. The enemy enslaves the person created in the image and likeness of God, paralyzing them physically, mentally and spiritually, making it appear that there is no solution for them. In His days on earth, would Christ say that there is no more way out for any person?

We do not know how often that infirm lady went to the house of God, but it is certain that her captivity came to an end when she heard the Lord preach the Word. Now, this is exactly what should happen in our meetings, where the helpless would receive our assistance. So, how many would convert, repenting of their sins and beginning to do the divine work? God will operate when true faith is present.

The Savior’s ministry was simple, so that all could understand it. If we let Him use us, those who have received the revelation of the Word will qualify themselves to be delivered and healed. I believe that Jesus preached that behind every abnormality there is an unclean spirit dominating the person. Christ taught: All things are possible to him who believes (Mark 9: 23b). Have we, in fact, believed?

How many people have insoluble problems, whether it is incurable illness for Medicine, or a temptation they have not been able to overcome? Understand that Satan’s attacks seem to destroy you and lead you to Hell. Say with sincerity: have you surrender yourself to suffering? If you lived in the days of Jesus, what would He say about the evil that is afflicting you? Open your eyes!

We are the unbelieving and perverse generation mentioned by the Son of God in Matthew 17:17. We perish for not examining the Scriptures to learn the important matters of life (John 5:39)! It is worthwhile to dedicate oneself to doing good. If someone in your family is born with a serious health problem, what will be your attitude? Prepare yourself to do good to those who suffer! Are you one of those who only worldly pleasure and money?

Upon hearing that His disciples failed to free the epileptic boy, the Savior said: “O unbelieving and perverse generation! How long will I be with you, and when will I suffer? Bring him to me here (Mt 17:17). If we do not exceed our justice far more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, we will not enter the Kingdom of God!!
