He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; -  Psalm 15:3

Our language must edify people. It´s wrong to slander others, even if they aren´t acting according to God’s Law. Understand: the important thing is not to throw mud on his reputation, but get him to understand the divine plan and repent of his mistakes. As ambassadors of the Kingdom of Heaven, this is what we must strive for.

When he met Nathanael, Philip said they had found the Messiah, of whom the Scriptures spoke (John 1:45). When he heard of the Master’s origin, this is what Nathanael commented: Can anything good come out of Nazareth? (John 1:46). Why did this city have a bad reputation and Jesus was probably discriminated for having lived there for a while, even though He was born in Bethlehem? It is not good to slander!

Disbelieving someone is one way of harming others, causing them harm and suffering. Now, whether we are good or bad people has nothing to do with where we were born, but whether if we have a fear of God or not. No matter how hard one strives for success, if one becomes involved with a servant of the devil, one’s life will be difficult.

A bad heart prevents your fellow man from getting a job, getting married or thriving in life. In fact, differences between us should never prevent us from reaching social ascension. In Scripture, people were accepted regardless of their success or failure. Therefore, be an instrument to do good to all people.

Judgment Days is near, and whoever has been used by the enemy to somehow hurt his fellowman will have no justification, making it clear that he disobeyed the Lord´s decree. A man’s worst attitude is to cause pain to another. Our duty is to love our neighbor as ourselves, as Jesus commanded (Mark 12:31).

Never accept any affront against anyone. If a person lives to do evil, let the righteous Judge, judge her, but if you can, pray for them wholeheartedly. The prayer of the righteous avails much (James 5:16). It is so pleasing to contribute to the salvation of a life. The lost are not always evil, but because they are the devil’s servants, they are his puppets.

Accept the Word of God who has made us messengers of the good news, whose mission is to proclaim the Gospel, the perfect Law of freedom, to all those who still don´t know the love of the Lord. Treat people the way you would like to be treated. If you sow love, you will have good crops.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

God our Counselor! You will reward those who do good to others as much as they do. You will treat all those who do evil the same way. Use us for Your glory!

Why would we insult someone if we can talk about Your love and change their life? We need to learn Your commandments to help others, for this pleases You!

We will only accept Your commandment to love everyone and do good to those who cross our path. Then we will reap the rewards of this good deed and in the future receive great reward! Amen!
