No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days. Exodus 23.26

It is sad to know there was an abortion, a life process interrupted by man, whether for health purposes or for any other reason.  Who would that child be?  What would it do in favor of humankind? What was the divine plan for that life? If the Lord gives us a blessing, we must receive it with great appreciation, tender care and protection.  God’s gifts are irrevocable (Romans 11:29).  Anchored to this truth, in the face of a threat of abortion, we must use the Name of Jesus to prevent this act of the devil.

Some women spend months bedridden without exerting any effort so as not to lose the baby.  Certainly they will be rewarded on the great Day.  However, those who watch over the recently converted, interceding for them during their trials and investing their precious time to help these, undoubtedly have their name in the Lord’s book of rewards.  This way when the Master returns, that intercessor will have a greater reward, for he prevented a spiritual abortion.

Sometimes the devil can convince a woman to avoid getting pregnant, convincing her that she might die in childbirth.  This allows the best years for motherhood to slip by and be lost.  Then when she decides to have a child at any cost, it is already too late. What frustration! Others decided to be successful in life and ambitious for money. Was it worth it?

Nobody should be resigned to being barren, for in the Bible many people prayed and saw the Most High revert this deficiency.  If God new us when we were still unformed (Psalm 139:16) and wove our muscles and fibers, as well as our structure, He knows what prevents a woman from reproducing.  Therefore she will produce children if she prays or her husband does as Isaac prayed (Genesis 25.21) God is faithful!

Isaac did not accept Rebecca’s infertility and prayed constantly for her, until his prayer was heard and his wife conceived.  If Isaac did nothing else, and he did do so many good things, just from the fact that he himself came to this world through prayer and faith of his father Abraham (Genesis 21:1-3), and transferred his fear of God to Jacob, his existence was worth every minute.  Even as patriarch and Abraham’s son, Isaac had do fight during 20 years for the fulfillment of the promise.  Things are not always easy!

The promise that our days of life on earth will be carried out leads us to understand that there is a determined time span for us to live.  Surely, it is not good to leave before this is completed. With Hezekiah, King of Judah, something similar happened.  Before his time came to an end, he was taken by a mortal disease.  In sight of this the prophet Isaiah prayed for him but God said that the king would die.  Nevertheless, Hezekiah reversed the Lord’s initial decree by his crying out his plea, making his prayer to be heard (2 Kings 20.1-11).

There is always a solution! Even for those cases the Lord has determined and declared to be terminal.  It is a time to pray unceasingly and without boundaries or limits because in Heaven we will not have to combat evil.  Abortion will always be abnormal and deplorable.  Barrenness is the denial of life and if our days are abbreviated we will suffer loss.

In Christ, with Love,

God, Giver and Fulfiller of life!  Your Word that enlightens our heart is sufficient for us to not give Satan a chance, who is all out to frustrate Your plan.  The evil one has prevented many who were purposed and known by You to come to the light.

According to Your Word, no woman should abort.  However, in our midst we see this occur various times.  The reason is evident: we do no dedicate ourselves to You as we should. This being so, the enemy upsets the dreams of many and prevent them from obeying Your will.

Now I cry out for any woman who is about to suffer an abortion.  I also bind the devil of infertility or barrenness and he who came to kill this reader who is now praying with me, before Your appointed time.  In the Name of Jesus, I command you to leave and take all the evil that is yours.
