20/03/2019 - THREE IMPORTANT STEPS

Now the men of Israel and Judah arose and shouted, and pursued the Philistines as far as the entrance of the valley and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell along the road to Shaaraim, even as far as Gath and Ekron. 1 Samuel 17.52

The Israelites had long since fallen, for Goliath overthrew them every time he came to fight them.  What a shame! But when the Philistines saw their hero on the ground and beheaded, they remembered that God does not forsake those who believe in Him. It´s good when families have a servant of the Lord among them. When they see the enemy without strength and fleeing, they will rise up. The men of Israel and Judah took three important steps.

There was contentment in the ranks of Israel. The soldiers hugged each other and celebrated David´s feat in their favor. Likewise, when we preach the Word in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, people get up and rejoice because the devil no longer rules over them. Therefore, our preaching should not contain persuasive words of human knowledge, but the revelation of what Jesus did on the Cross, so that those that have fallen may arise and rejoice.

The Israelites rejoiced and chased the Philistines, who were terrified at the defeat of their hero. When we proclaim the message of Christ, we show that the devil has been defeated by Him. Then the demons manifest themselves in whom they oppress, because they cannot withstand the power of the Most High, and they want to beat a retreat immediately. Thus, these lives now belong to the Omnipotent, who is a consuming fire. Do not let your opponent run away; stop him!

The fact that the Israelites slaughtered their opponents along the way serves as a lesson to us. If we let them loose they will regroup and come back to harm us. However, as we act by faith, the Lord will deliver them into our hands. Do not pity the one who wants to steal, kill and destroy you. After all, the nature of this kind of person will always be wicked. However, where the Spirit of God is there is freedom.

The Israelites pursued the Philistines all the way to the valley and the gates of Ekron. This is God’s direction, for us to come to the gates of Hell determined to free us from the evils that afflict us. What happened in the past must happen today. In our fight against the realm of evil, our rebuke, in the Name of Jesus, is as if we physically hit the enemy.

The Philistines were smitten; today, the spirits fall to the ground when they hear the Name of the Lord. This command will not leave them free, but bound. When we cast them out, we command them not to ever come back. So carry on and be successful! He who goes back to sin after being delivered, allows the demons to reorganize and return much worse (Luke 11: 24-26).

The victory you achieved to this date is not the last one, but the first of a series of victories to be conquered throughout your life. You begin to be blessed as you watch and pray. Thus, you will not fall into sin. Your deliverance pleases God; so, take care of it.

In Christ, with love,

Lord! You did a great work through a young man that believed in You, and it caused the enemy to flee from Israel. You made the Israelites understand that they should arise, rejoice, and persecute the Philistines.

We cannot let evil regroup and attack us again. May Your children be, from now on, with their heads held high and happy. Your joy is our strength. There is no way thatYour people can lose a battle.

You're our Commander. We must be fearless and persecute those who afflict us, so that they run away in despair. Victory is ours! We determine that we will get rid of the oppressors
