I have not departed from Your judgments, for You Yourself have taught me. Psalm 119:102

Blessed are those who learn from God and never depart from His teachings. They will be successful in all that they do. Those who obtain human knowledge, even though it may be useful, must understand that there will always be some intention in it. Now, what comes only from man is flesh, and the flesh profits nothing (John 6:63). Once you are taught by the Most High, keep doing what He told you, for that is pure and powerful. What belongs to man can only serve for things of this world.

Whoever listens to the Truth from the mouth of the Master and departs from it will struggle to explain, in Judgment Day, why did he act so. Moses told the Israelites that he had given them the statutes from the Lord, so that they would practice them in the land that they would inherit (Deuteronomy 5:1). The Lord’s judgments are given to us so that we may fulfill them in the blessed Land of Promise that we occupy: the Gospel. Seek and obey them!

The Almighty gave the sons of Jacob these judgments, so that they would not mix themselves with other nations. Unfortunately, many leaders of God’s work despise these orientations. Scriptures say that what happened then was a shadow of what happens in our days (Hebrews 10:1), and thus, we see Christians mixing up with the wicked. Value God more than the wise of this world, and do not imitate the way they live and their schemes.

John the Baptist came before Jesus with the purpose of preparing the way for Him. He knew that he was not the Messiah, but that he had the role of making people expectant about the One who would come and restore all things. We cannot forget that we are not the Lord, but His servants. Thus, we cannot elaborate doctrines out of our own thoughts and experiences. It is good to be careful with the Pharisees and Sadducees, brood of vipers, who attempt to escape the coming wrath (Matthew 12:34).

Those who are guided by God know that the doctrine is true. However, those who are guided by man do not care about understanding the origin of certain things. Thus, they soon become elders of what they call a Christian religion, and start lying and propagating mistake. Certainly, what matters to them is to be recognized as masters, in order to benefit from religious power – and in some cases, political power as well. The Most High’s precepts do not need to be improved or adjusted.

Christ’s teaching brings us the divine anointing and remains in us. Thus, we do not need the masters of this world to tell us if something is right or wrong. The proof that something comes from the Lord is the faith that abides inside of us. With it, we become fulfillers of the work, as Jesus himself and His disciples were. Do not discard anything that the Most High makes you understand through the Bible.

The Word orientates: But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him (1 John 2:27). It is beautiful to be in the Light, isn’t it? To walk with Jesus is to walk in the daylight, without stumbling. May we all remember, at all times, of the things that came from the heavenly Father, including our salvation. To God be the glory!

In Christ, with love,

God, our Master! The examples of the Israelites that left you and walked in the dark, stumbling, and hurting themselves on their way to captivity in Assyria – and later in Babylon, as it happened to Judah – make us shiver with fear.

We do not want to depart Your judgments, so that we may not fall. Help us understand Your instruction, because then, we will certainly not stumble. We do not desire to go to captivity, but we desire to live in the Land of Promise, the Gospel.

As we learn to serve You, we will walk in the light of Your face, and then, we will be safe and happy. Lord, our union is to last for all eternity. May Your love guide us, because that is the reason why we came to Your Kingdom!
