Although Simeon´s sons were with Judah as if they were one army, the war was not theirs, so the Word only mentions Judah. However, this does not mean that their union did not have divine approval. By getting together, they fulfilled the biblical guidance, opting for the best. The servants of the Lord should always think of the good of the Kingdom of God, and not of the denomination to which they belong. We are all workers for a noble and great cause. Hallelujah!
Judah experienced victory upon victory, and this is what the Most High is ready to do for His people in all areas. They were able to put an end to the arrogant Adoni-Bezek and the resistance in Jerusalem, which, after being defeated, was burned down. By the way, this also serves as a warning to those who think that they are saving for their families to live well eternally. The entire world will be burned down.
After having finished off the deplorable Adoni-Bezek, and having burned down everything in the future city of the great King, the army of Jacob´s two sons went down to fight against the Canaanites who dwelt in the mountains, in the south, and in the plains. It was a lot of people they would have to defeat, and it would give them some trouble. Now, why should his sons not fight against the Canaanites, when Jacob himself labored seven more years for Rachel’s sake, which seemed nothing to him? (Genesis 29:20).
Our greatest struggle today is the conversion and consecration of our entire family. Thus says the Word: But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever (1 Timothy 5:8). We have a war to wage on behalf of the members of our household, for eternal damnation will be irremediable. Those who claim to be saved, but do not fight for the salvation of their own, probably do not know what it means to belong to Jesus!
It doesn’t matter what your family members do in the world, or how they live, or what kind of education they have; if they die without being born again, they will never see the Light. If this doesn’t bother you, you haven’t been born again yet either. Now, being religious has nothing to do with true conversion, the basic condition for eternal happiness. Now, this point must never be forgotten, because there will be no second chance for salvation. Take care of yourself!
The enemies are spread everywhere and they are all well-armed. However, God’s servant will be able to track them down and free those of his house, taking possession of the Promised Land. Never lose hope! As it happened with the Canaanites, it will also happen with the unbelief existing in the hearts of some of your household. When you accept Jesus as Savior, the mantle of salvation comes over your family (Act 16:31).
Don’t look at things that seem to be impossible, for the Master spoke about it: But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19.26). Face your struggles with the certainty that they will all be solved in faith in Christ. In this way, you will have victory. Faith will bring you the solution!
In Christ, with love,

God of true justice! You make a small people, without financial means or military power, overcome those who were always prepared for war and committed the greatest atrocities. Only You could make the weak overcome the strong, for You are the Lord!
The example of Judah, assisted by Simeon, helps us to never give up seeking You. After all, without You we can do nothing. The brothers who are going through the worst struggles in their families will succeed in their prayers and spiritual battles, for Your Spirit will help them!
Thank You for giving us good examples. Your Word would be enough for us to give the enemy what he deserves: fire! We beg You to strengthen us; thus, we will fulfill Your will during our pilgrimage on Earth. Amen!
