Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Exodus 23:20

The path of the Israelites headed toward the Promised Land would be guided by the Angel of the Lord, so they should not fear any enemy that may appear.  This teaches us that evil will rise against our journey, but we need not fear, because we will never be alone each step of the way in fulfilling the will of the Lord.  He thought of everything and has prepared our rescue for each hour of tribulation.

The Angel of the Lord had the authority to do what was necessary, so that the Word be fulfilled with respect to each promise contained in it.  They would only have to be led by this special heavenly messenger.  In the same way, we must proceed today, leaving no doubt or fear of being attacked or removed from the purpose of God.  We are part of this plan and the Almighty will handle each detail.

The angel would go before the Israelites, opening a safe passage for them, so they would not wander or be lost in their steps.  This refers to what happens today, when we obey God’s command to “Go!”. Our progress must be firm, constant to the end.  We must not deviate from the appointed destination.  While we are in this world, we will have troubles but the Father will care for us (John 16:33)!

The heavenly envoy had the authority to guard them.  For this reason they need not fear any sort of threat. Having been authorized by God, the messenger would protect and lead them to their destination.  Be sure that nothing will be able to remove you from the Almighty’s design.  Therefore you can advance to the target, keeping the faith, certain that the just Lord will give you the crown of life.  Expect this reward!

God had provided and reserved the place for the Israelites to plant their feet, and at each step of the way, they could lay hold.  In the same manner, the Lord has prepared His promises so that we can take possession.  This way, when there is an adverse situation, resist the temptation to say that God doesn’t love you, or that you were not selected to do His will.  Certainly, He will assist you and prove that the blessing is yours.

The Lord has invested His power in His commands in order to make us reach the objectives.  If it be necessary to use such authority, the divine Envoy will not shrink or be reluctant to do so in any circumstance.  Nothing can prevent you from carrying out your mission.  You will be and will have what God has declared concerning you.  The testimonies of the Lord are faithful, so you must never stray from the Scriptures.

The Holy Spirit is the Envoy from Heaven to lead us where the Almighty has prepared for us to be and to make us true winners. He is God as is the Father and the Son.  By His intercession in your life you will not lack desire or ability to carry out your mission.  The Lord is faithful in delivering all His promises.  Do you believe this?
