In mercy and truth Atonement is provided for iniquity; And by the fear of the Lord one departs from evil. Proverbs 16: 6

A heart full of iniquity leads man to sin. Lack of equity – equal treatment of all, respect for God’s things, faith and justice – makes a person disregard others, or to feel better than others. So they think they can abuse someone to satisfy their immoral desires. In conceiving iniquity, the human being distances himself from God and comes closer to the devil. Mercy!

Tied to this evil instinct, man does not reason and cannot get out of the clutches of Satan. From then on, when the evil one tells him to do something harmful to someone, this person does not even think how much pain they will cause. As if it were something normal, he gives himself up to practice all evil that comes to mind. The only way to get rid of the infernal power is to seek in the Word the right direction, to believe and to take on the biblical command.

The Holy Spirit used the writer of the book of Proverbs in order to teach us to walk away from the influence of the devil, leading us to take the necessary steps to free ourselves from the condemnation that iniquity brings. No one becomes wicked by chance. If you do not take advantage of divine guidance, you will never be freed from the infernal power. Do not live under the demonic direction, because you will harm others.

The Bible says that through mercy and truth we are purified. Mercy is an act of love that God dispenses to those imprisoned by the adversary. When He stretches out His hand towards them, the Most High delivers them from the devil. Truth is the revealed Word, as long as people accept it and use the Word to rebuke the devil.

Being enveloped by mercy and knowing the Truth, you will be set free. It is as if you had never been oppressed. Thus, you will live free from the force of evil that ruled your heart. Now, without this evil master, you will respect your neighbor, you will love the Lord and abandon pernicious practices. Purification will work in your favor. This is what you need in order to please God.

Another blessing that such a verse announces is the fear of the Lord. Whoever has it acquires the capacity to no longer submit to temptations. By believing in the Word, you approach God, and He draws near to you as well. It is time to evaluate your life and claim for deliverance. Why serve the devil, if you can have Jesus as your Savior?

Accept the divine mercy, because it will lead you close to God, cleansing you of all lustful desires. Then you will be able to live in the presence of the King of kings as if you had never been a servant to the enemy. Accept Jesus as Savior and be free from evil instincts. Make your choice!
