And I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a heritage: I am the Lord. Exodus 6: 8

This declaration made by God was enough to make the Hebrews weep with joy. They cried with tears to the One who could make them the happiest people on earth. Similarly, the biblical promises, including those of Jesus, should lift us up and enable us to live victoriously, just as Abraham was determined to be a blessing. Halleluiah!

As long as we act like unbelievers, we will not go very far. The lost will never set an example for the saved, but the opposite must always be true. Having the seal of the Lord on our lives, we are obliged to do the same works of Jesus and other great works (John 14:12). He has called us to partake of His eternal glory, but we have chanted with those who do not know the Most High. Mercy!

To live a life desiring to be healed and prosperous is not the Lord’s plan for us. It is true that aiming for something is good. If we are walking properly before God, the desires of our heart will be fulfilled (Psalm 37: 4). However, most of the time, we fail to obtain the gifts of Heaven, establishing limits to divine operations. But these limitations do not come from Him.

The Lord promised the Israelites to take them to Canaan, symbol of the true Land of the Promise, which is spiritual, according to our understanding. Therefore, we must refuse what prevents us from being and having what the Word declares. There is much more to enjoy. We have the duty to enjoy the wonders of God which have been offered to us.

Let the Most High lead you and notice how good He is. The Bible commands us to taste Him to confirm this (Psalm 34:8). He has infinite power to keep His promises, and we should enjoy His goodness, rebuking any obstacle. The heavenly Father knows how to give good things to His children. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). Everything He owns or is belongs to those who believe. Do you believe?

If Canaan were just an ordinary land, would God lift up His hand in promise? So He did so that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were to be sure that the Lord would accomplish it. The Lord proceeds with us in the same way. The true Land of the Promise is great; therefore, do not be afraid, only believe (Mark 5: 36)! In doing so, you will see the divine glory in every decision of yours. The rebels are wasting so much, isn´t that right?

It is unnecessary to suffer to obtain the riches of God, because all has been given to us by inheritance. We have been placed before the Promised Land, and to take possession of it, we have only to believe and make our statements of faith. The Almighty gives us the same understanding of Jesus; therefore, we should live and minister as Christ.

In Christ with love,

R. R. Soares

Lord! It is so good to be called Your son! Your Word turns us into conquerors. All the promises belong to us, so it's wonderful to be able to reach them. We do not accept to live as if we are lost!

Our Promised Land is our understanding, so we pray now to take possession of what is ours. We rebuke the actions of the devil. May all evil leave of our life and never come back! Halleluiah!

We thank You for bringing us to the Land from which you have lifted Your hand, saying that You would give us possession of it. We accept Your promises as an inheritance. You are Lord over all, and as part of the Body of Christ, so are we!
