But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it. Numbers 14:24

The way in which you carry out your mission is of great importance.  Even as you obey the Lord, you might see things in a different way and by doing so, you might harm your life and that of others.  Certainly, the devil will send you temptations, because he aims to take you away from the divine plan.  So be watchful and always vigilant in constant prayer to discover and enjoy the good, pleasant and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2)

By walking as a spy in the Promise Land, Caleb preferred to have the Spirit of God as Master.  Certainly, the devil tried to exaggerate the size and the strength of the sons of Anak, but Caleb did not accept the fear imposed by the demon, which would bring the devil himself to direct his life.  The servant of the Lord looked firmly and boldly to the promise of the Almighty, which defined that the Spirit of God would inhabit his heart. Halleluiah!

The other ten scouts allowed themselves to be taken by fear, and not only did they hurt themselves, but they also took the entire congregation of Israel to complain and neglect the Almighty (Numbers 13).  Consequently, they wandered for 40 years in the desert (Numbers 14:28-35).  Many individuals move in ways and paths that God did not plan for them. Because of this they suffer defeat and face trials.  It is necessary to return to the Lord!  

Those that allow themselves to be possessed by the spirit of error do not persevere in seeking and following the Almighty and spend their days in suffering. This way they disturb or hinder their families and those that wait on them, instead of seeking God’s word in the Scripture. It is necessary to break and loosen these chains that have handed victories to the devil.  You came to this world to carry out a beautiful plan of God, which needs to be fulfilled by your success.

There was a solution for that thoughtless attitude of the Israelites: full and complete repentance.  But they did not practice forgiveness and were stubborn in their errors.  Because of this God even wanted to destroy them, for they would be worthless and useless for anything else.  The Lord only did not carry out His intention, because Moses intervened as mediator, indicating the type of mission that Jesus would later come to execute. Take advantage and live, for Christ has made himself propitiation in your favor!

Caleb was led by God to the land he went in to spy.  There, he immediately defeated the evil one.  He who believes in Jesus makes Him real and true, but he who does not believe in Him makes him a liar (1 John 5:10).  Pay attention to how you react in face of temptations.  What God did for Caleb, He will also do to those who do not give in to temptation.  Do not allow any other spirit to live in you except the Holy Spirit of God.  If you have not been doing His will, repent and start obeying immediately.

Consequently, Caleb and his seed lived in the territory where they planted their feet (Numbers14:24). There is a territory meant for you, waiting for you and from where you will never be expelled if you believe in the word of the Lord.  Reject the offers of the devil and never allow him to enter your life, because you were chosen to be the exclusive property of God.  With the Most High you will always be happy.
